  1. You would have to script it ; in the ME it's simply not possible imho. In script you should spawn the units, make them go to a waypoint located at the followed aircraft location, then schedule the same function in 1 second or 2 (go to waypoint) because the aircraft may have moved
  2. Here you are : Config - Keys - Instant Zoom keybind.zip
  3. It most definitely does compensate. When bombing with aerodynamically challenged ("retarded" is not politically correct) bombs like the Mk82-AIR, the fall line is often at 30 to 45 degrees out of the vertical.
  4. We flew a mission yesterday evening and, although we could notice the probe locking to the center of the basket as it should be, it didn't seem longer to me. Are we sure that it's been changed ?
  5. if you want to check what it does it's really easy : - start a mission where you're safely sitting somewhere, e.g. on the runway - open the options dialog, replace the IPD value with a very low value like 5 - check outside and mentally note the size of the cockpit (without closing the options dialog, the changes are instant) - type a zero after the single digit, making it e.g. 50 - check outside and immediately notice the size difference
  6. it isn't fixed ; worse, the baskets hitbox seems to be bugged now, and the probes connect to the bottom-right of the basket. This is the same for F18.
  7. IPD in DCS is not at all what the acronym means, they just renamed the old "world size" setting. The lowest you set it, the larger the world seems in your field of view.
  8. Sorry but I didn't remember that the thread was originaly about the Laser Code entry ; somehow I understood that we were talking about UFC frequency entry. Laser code works fine for me. UFC frequency entry does not ;)
  9. I've had mine for 7 years and it's as good as new
  10. OP, are you sure you didn't experience the infamous "magic laser-tipped wand" DCS bug ? I mean, the laser can't lase at more than 7-9nm away ; if the lasing aircraft is farther away, then laser doesn't stop - in fact the laser point (that the bomb follows) is placed as if it was at the end of a 7-9nm long wand that the lasing aircraft points at the target : therefore in mid-air, which would explain the bomb climbing up to meet it.
  11. Gret news !
  12. 1. on a MP server (not sure it is important but that's how I play) 2. starting cold (because who doesn't ?) 3. whenever entering a freq. on com1 (probably also com2 although I'm not sure), the first time I press the digit buttons on the UFC it's impossible to enter a dot (.) ; if I press "clear" then it's ok and I can do it Again, PM me if you need help on reproducing this ; I can make a video maybe ?
  13. @Harlikwin it's not an audio lag, it's a global desynchronization It's caused by something in correlation with the Harrier and a no-sound-card server accessed with Remote Desktop Protocol not configured as "play sounds on the remote computer". If no harrier are present everything works. If the DCS server is started on the remote computer while accessing it with RDP configured as "play sounds on the remote computer" it also works. As soon as both of these conditions are not respected, big lags/desyncs occur for every connected client. It was easily reproduced on our server. Decoy if you want to seriously invest into solving this I suggest that you PM me, maybe I can be of assistance ? I work in IT development so I know how difficult it is to solve bugs that you can't reproduce !
  14. Yes you're right, and yes I was only talking about the fact that the baskets are "predeployed" even before you state that you're ready for precontact
  15. No no, we were on the ground (Tbilissi)
  16. Krzysztof, I don't know if you're asking me or the OP ? In my case, GND Fine alignment by human operator. Do you know if Jester is capable making navigation fixes ?
  17. We've found out that when using ASH alignment (the quick "stored heading" one) the INS was loosing accuracy pretty quick (about 15' of angle for a 30 minutes long flight). Maybe you just need a quick TACAN fix to the INS ? Btw is Jester capable of these fixes ?
  18. Neither do I ; trim works fine after AP engage, and after AP Alt Hold. In fact I use this mode right before refueling as a trimming aid.

  20. Quote from the manual : To designate a target the pilot steers the aircraft in azimuth to place the target along the BFL. Then UP/DN on the target designate switch on the left wall of the pilot cockpit is used to slew the target designator along the BFL until it overlays the target. At that point the target is designated by pressing the target designate switch to DES. After designation the target designation diamond becomes stabilized to the designated position on the ground and the AN/AWG-9 is slewed to it for range measurements. The BFL now remains overlaying the designated target while the store impact point pipper and aircraft velocity vector continues to follow aircraft movements. In addition the HUD now displays the upper and lower solution cues on the BFL. So, in essence : you steer to align the Bomb Fall Line with your target you press DMS forward or DMS aft to move the caret on the Bomb Fall Line and place it on your target you press DMS right to ground stabilize the caret over your target you fly a standard CCRP approach and maintain the Weapons Release button pressed to drop the bomb
  21. thanks a lot, that did the trick !
  22. Nah, I tested on our server which had been restarted with me logged in, and I could not see the new behavior. So, strike that, it was a wrong theory. Still, I'd like to know what I need to do in order for our server to show the new behavior...
  23. Answering my own question : the CTL+KP7 key makes the Rift available as a display (monitor) in Windows, while the CTL-KP8 key does the exact opposite.
  24. In the F14 Tomcat, the SRS defined activation buttons do not work. Instead the DCS defined mic switches do trigger SRS. This is really a nuisance because they also show or hide the DCS communication menu. All of this in the latest release - 1.5.7.0 Is there something I missed ? Ciribob ? Is this how it is supposed to work ?
  25. It's the target designate switch By default it's mapped to DMS right on the Warthog IIRC.
