  1. Looking forward to it. It'll be a realistic base for any Vietnam-type scenarios (F-4s anyone?).
  2. Thanks, Duke. I'll give it a try. Very nice looking mod, I might add. I watched the Italian group perform at Oshkosh many years ago, before their big crash.
  3. Is there a way to zoom the view in this plane? In the Reapers' video, he's doing it with his TrackIR, but I can't find anything under the Axis settings. thx
  4. 4 days until fall.
  5. Nuts. Couldn't tell from on the phone watching it. I know there's a CIWS mod out there for ArmA. Maybe Razbam's just teasing.
  6. On Razbam's Facebook page, they posted a video of some ground based CIWS in action, presumably in DCS. Pretty much shredding any plane flying near. Coming soon?
  7. Thanks. Yeah, I'd probably vary the bearings by a degree or two for each.
  8. You need to hit the brakes right away after starting, or your A-4 will drift away from the chock. If you Alt-1 right away you can usually snag it.
  9. I notice while carrying 4 'poons, if I program one, the settings won't transfer to all of them. Is there a button which transfers the same bearings and such to all. It would suck to key it in for all of them. One went on target (and got shot down by Kuznetzov). The other 3 headed for shore.
  10. You have to bear in mind, tanks are built to resist hits from guns 105mm and up. We're dishing it out with a 30mm. It can work through sheer number of hits, but you still need to get lucky.
  11. Are you coming in from low or up high. Down low, you're dealing with the heaviest armor, while roof armor will be weaker.
  12. I do have the left/right/up/down mapped. That's what's not working.
  13. Where is sensorselect at? One of the MFD buttons?
  14. Is this another display in addition to the seeker head view? Maybe that's it. I normally have the radar running in the right panel.
  15. Yeah, I'm holding it down while slewing. The Mavs are warmed up. It takes two complete carrier orbits for that to happen. They are selected and I can lock on objects pointing the plane at them. I'll look at the options tab to see what else I can do.
  16. Hey guys. I'm having issues with the Maverick. I've assigned the TDC movement controls to the hat switch on my Warthog throttle at the front. I also assigned these keys to the keyboard as a backup. The TDC Depress button is assigned to the rounded hat switch at the left of the Warthog stick. For whatever reason, I can't get the effing seeker to slew. It's forever stuck forward, unless it locks itself on something when uncaged. I've downloaded Chuck's updated guide, hoping this would help, but no joy. Am I missing something? I can't slew from the stick or the keyboard.
  17. WI Air Guard: I also support the MN air guard ones from page 1. I used to watch them all the time. And also when they had F-4s.
  18. I raked in money at the casino this weekend. Got my pre order :)
  19. I've had this issue too. I've been putting it on the deck very gently, and I always explode.
  20. I believe Minnesota (Duluth) also had them. Watched them a lot back in the day -- especially when they had F-4s
  21. Kind of reminds me of what I read on the British Lightning. If it was carrying one missile forces could cause the vertical tail to snap off.
  22. mine either.
  23. Born the same year. Back when I was in AFROTC, we would drive to the guard base in Duluth to watch the F-4Ds all the time. Back in the good ol' Cold War days, they were flying 24/7. Right outside the gate, the taxiway from the hanger to the runway was only like 50 feet away, so we always had a good view.
