Same as you but I press enter, save and then on and it seems to stick. Not sure it should require those three but not had a problem when I have done it.

It seems to yes, it trimmed out my roll yesterday so much so it took ages to get it back to normal with AP off, not sure if the real jet has a trim reset but we badly need one (couldn't see anything in the control settings?) This occured when I released a GBU16 and the AP trimmed out the flight automatically. Upon taking back control to avoid ground fire the AP trim didnt reset so I was stuck fighting an asymmetric jet with horrendous trim whilst avoiding being shot!

Don't forget that there probably wasn't a lot of point in doing updates when 2.5 was rolling out. Better to wait and get it right first time than push it out and it break when a major platform update then comes out a few days later.

I had issues with trim up to the point of adding a small dead zone to the stick then it was very trimable. I think I set a value of 5 on the DZ.

Try here. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3332006 I personally bind the X55 in game and use the saitek software for more complex macros.

You both have not accidentally changed the focal point / focus setting have you? Mine is perfectly clear.

Thank you. Just realised the Pocket Guide has been updated since I last downloaded it so I have just read through the section for the pod. Glad the Sensor Select hat can be used to control the pod, will make a huge difference. Hopefully for the other people above saying they had issues they also had TRNL selected rather than laser.
-
Never mind. I had it set to trnl. Not lasr. Can someone quickly explain mrkr and trnl for me?
-
I have done exactly as you just said and all ten bombs failed to find and track the laser. The laser fired for sure. Pretty sure nothing wrong with my procedures.

Most the modules have this on the canopy. As to why it's more visible on your installation I have no idea as it's nowhere near that bad on my computer.

There is a thread about it already. May be the same issue? https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=https%3A%2F%2Fforums%2Eeagle%2Eru%2Fshowthread%2Ephp%3Ft%3D197238&share_tid=197238&share_fid=74365&share_type=t A-A refueling does not fill drop tanks

HELP wanted! KEYBINDS X55 AV8BNA in appreciation!
noisy_lightning replied to protea1's topic in AV-8B N/A
I have been lucky with my x55 and had no problems with it mechanically. There was a forum post on here a bit back where someone used a replacement Playstation Portable anologue stuck and replaced the mouse nipple with that and it worked a treat. Considering doing that at some point as it would make a huge difference. -

I just wish saitek would allow us to set the mouse nipple as a generic axis rather than having use it as purely a mouse cursor or use bands for keypress macro activation. -

Normally I would share the profile or screenshot the page but as I mentioned I am away at the moment. From memory though I tried setting the switch to fallback but it wouldn't allow me to change all three mode settings as such so I left them as mode1/2/3. Above where the drop down menu to select mode, fallback etc there is a box to record macro, I just programmed a basic key press macro to change master modes as per the key bind in game. Then under each mode set the speed brake switch to the macro I already had for the airbrake deployment. As mentioned earlier all the other bindings are set in game so the only things I have set by macro in the saitek software is the MM selection and air brake. So what I have done does not disable the mode in the drivers, it just also sends a key press when you do change mode. Hopefully this makes sense, if not I will install saiteks software on my laptop and setup a new profile if I can (without my HOTAS). -

I am using a x55 and use the top hat switch on my throttle for slewing. I am away from my computer for Christmas otherwise I would do you some sort of key map for you. For the record the only keys I have had to bind outside of the game are the air brake (so I can use the slider on the throttle I had to write a macro in the saitek software) and also setting the mode dial to the different aircraft master modes (VSTOL, AG, NAV), again I had to use the saitek software for this for a macro after disabling the mode option for the Harrier profile. -
I would like to know if this is possible (maybe a quirk of the EA?)

Is dumping fuel from all tanks to bingo modeled yet?
noisy_lightning replied to fargo007's topic in AV-8B N/A
Same happens to me, initially I thought it was as I was under bingo but when I lowered the bingo it still wouldn't allow me to operate the dump switches again. I think it must be bugged? -

Oh yeah it wasn't fast, like a 100lb every few seconds and involved and orbit or two, but it definitely stopped at around the 2000lb total mark on its own. -

I did it last night to dump fuel prior to landing on deck. Seemed to work yes. -
I had one today launching from a carrier. Right at the critical point of take off I got the OT and despite quickly throttling back I still ended up in the drink. Can't say what caused it as I had launched a good number of times over the evening in the same way.

Beautiful Harrier. Sorry to ask but how long v.2
noisy_lightning replied to Neil Gardner's topic in AV-8B N/A
Just copy the configuration file into v2 from v1.5, no need to redo it all manually. -
No need for ent or Sav. At least not when I am doing it. Entering code then on is good enough and quicker.
-
It's meant to. I guess to ensure quicker selection or accidently selection for the next change a while later?

The upper left screens (Option Display Unit / ODU) with buttons are meant to go out after a specific time when not used. For me the Tacan is working fine. Press tcn Dial up number Change x or y on ODU Press t/r on ODU Press on The Tacan will be now showing in the navigation page (EHSD) . The section in the pocket guide (pg 50) is better at explaining it all in full.
