Bizarre, I am away from my gaming PC at the moment else I would record a small video of my setups behaviour. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

The part about the 5% hard coded deadzone is interesting as I do not experience any such thing on my setup. In fact the tiniest little movement on my X55 stick is translated in game, I have zero deadzone at all! Could it be that some people have bugged installs?

How do I get mission with pod? noob needs help
noisy_lightning replied to silent one's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
If you have it or don't mind downloading it install discord and find the "Wingman finder" channel. There are message boards in there and voice chat and I am sure someone will be more than happy to help you out on a multilayer server. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk -
I am glad I was not imagining it, makes it far more ergonomic! The also look slightly larger as well? Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Check the date of the mission in the mission editor. If its in 1940s this will be why. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Which grey is. Just on the left and right DDI the screen is green and so its green. I think the OP was asking if the real jet is capable of displaying it on the MPCD or not. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

On the HSI you get a marker and direction line to the point on the ground the TGP is looking, combine this with the map view and its quite useful.

To clear that (not sure if its the correct procedure but it works for me) FCS reset, then press the TO trim button again, it re-trims the aircraft to the new loadout.

How far away is "right ahead of me" I expect its a distance issue, as in they are further away than can be locked?

Can't talk for polychop but if one of those videos you are referring to is the Grim Reapers on then that guy thinks he knows more than he does. From actual hands on experience with a Gazelle it's about right in terms of flight model. There is a sound bud at the moment I think but as stated above that's a problem with ED and not PC. Confirmed, has worked for a while actually, though clearly won't work in real life, in DCS the sim just seems the boom as the same point as a drogue. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

To be honest the only thing I changed from default on the keyboard is the UFC numbers to my numpad, may be quicker to just bind those in the settings if it's something you want to use. Just as a heads up I use separate rudder pedals so if you want to use the twist stick as rudder you will need to add that again under the axis bindings. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

I honestly didn't know it had sounds entering and exciting the HUD FOV. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

I have added my LUA files for the HOTAS below, also the keyboard as I have my numpad on the keyboard set as the UFC keys to make it much quicker entering coordinates for guided munitions. You should be able to import these in game I think, then when you press each button on the HOTAS it should show what its bound to ingame. I have three switches bound to external apps though for example PTT in SRS and some to reset and re-center the trackIR. The Capture image is of the macro for the speed brake, it will only work if you have the default keybinds for the air brake. See the below video on more specific macro stuff, but if you do macro the speed brake make sure the macro is for 3 seconds to allow full deployment up and down. I have an X55 so the exact same layout. I don't have any profiles for the software specifically as the only thing I use thst for is to macro the air brake to the speed brake switch on the throttle (I can share this later on). All my binds are done within the game itself. That said I don't mind jotting down what I use later on if that helps you layout wise, do you have a dedicated rudder or do you use the stick? TWS against multiple targets in the Hornet possible?
noisy_lightning replied to Matic_Prime's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Does this only work for the specific mission or is it universal over all missions? -
They normally remove them and take out the safety pins at the runway threshold immediately prior to take off. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Program runs fine and I can fly the UH-1 easily but ...

Start Menu, Documents, Saved Games, DCS, -
We don't have TWS in the Hornet yet, LTWS is not the same and I really think you need to go and read up on the differences between LTWS and TWS. We cannot compare the Hornet to the Mirage on radar modes as the Hornet is far from complete. See the post above yours! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

I have had this not just with the gun but also when using A2A missiles. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

It's all down to the flaps as others have said. Pretty sure it's a bug myself as there is no way this would be a "design feature" in the real jet but despite many reports of this happening in the forums its been marked as not a bug. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Position of ACQ symbol for radar STT Lock
noisy_lightning replied to GumidekCZ's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
It works exactly as it should for me. It may just be that you want to lock the further aircraft in which case you need to use another method. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk -
You can turn LTWS off in the radar page as well which is one of the first things I do every single flight. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

1. JDAM and JSOW are in the open beta which is not available to the steam version. Think of the OB as a test version in which ED double check with us the players on things working correctly prior to release to the stable version. Missions can be found on this forum, there is a missions section where people post their own, there may be some under the downloads section on the main dcs website too. I believe there is a way to migrate your steam license to the DCS standalone version, the help pages should give guidance on how to do this if you want to switch to the open beta. Crew deck animations are not in game for us yet. Those animations are a teaser from the developers of what is coming. They will form part of the paid Carrier module though and not the one you currently have, so you would need to buy the carrier when they release it. 2. There is a manual but rather out of data. Chucks guide is better maintained. That said if you are unsure check out YouTube as there are a wealth of tutorials which you may find more useful. Look up a channel called Redkite http:// https://www.youtube.com/user/RedKiteRender(and if your sensor of humour is more in the gutter, U Laobi https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqH078Ef0HENo01LF3xwIvA Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
