  1. Despite the title I am aware this shouldnt be possible however its the only way I can think to describe the problem. I played through the weekly "Strike Fighter" mission yesterday once and was shot down on my first attempt. I pressed fly again at the end and when I launched from the carrier the aircraft pitched up violently and to begin with the only way I was able to avoid crashing was to roll her over each time. I managed to get the FCS page open and the values didnt seem to show any issues with the stab position, and the controller input display (Right Ctrl + Enter) showed my stick was not the problem as the physical controller and in game indicator showed centre when I had the stick released (Centred). Even with full stick forward the aircraft was pitching up. Pressing FCS reset did not sort the problem. This has happened to me before but never this badly and I have either been able to trim it out very slowly or its sorted itself randomly. This is by far the worst instance. Strike Fighter.trk
  2. There isn't one as far as I can tell as every time I zero my track IR its in the perfect position. I suspect its modeled for accuracy more than any practical reason. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  3. You can, I did some AAR last night and it filled the centre line tank I had, though it did it last after filling the main tanks.
  4. Two seconds on Google will show that is not correct.
  5. Ah ok it makes sense now yes. Thanks. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  6. I am pretty sure the external lights one is already there as I use it now! You just have to turn the lights on/up on the left throttle panel then the command is in the HOTAS sub category ("L" on the keyboard bind). I then have it bound to my HOTAS to toggle the lights on/off.
  7. I can't find it on my phone but there is a lot of research done on these forums in one specific post. The same dude did a few videos on YouTube one of which Ralfi was included on. Edit: found it Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  8. The first thing I turn off when I start the jet is the map as its useless if you can't see the hsi. I hope they sort it out before we get a targeting pod as that's really when the nap will come in useful! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  9. I have two rotary dials on yhr X55 throttle base (RTY 3 & 4) which I would like to use to control lighting on the F18. What I would like to do though is bind the right most axis to the Cockpit lights (inst and console) and the left axis to external lights but with each dial controlling two at once in the Cockpit. Does anyone know if this is possible? I have tried manually editing my controller lua so both are on the same axis but this didn't work on game. Not sure if it's possible as a macro in the main programming software either. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  10. I believe this is what you mean? https://github.com/mdjarv/JoystickVisualizer Works as an overlay in OBS or other streaming software.
  11. On whichever DDI you have the EW page up, press the button that says HUD, it will then display the threats on the HUD. Then use the FLIR/RAID/HARM HOTAS bind (I) to cycle through the threats/targets.
  12. Exactly what you said, loiter at WP4 then push at 0104z at Mach .75. The entire strike package will push the same time as you but slower, you take out the SA, the F15s hopefully deal with the enemy fighters and then tea and medals back home! I flew at 15000ft as I am sure that was what the WP was set at on the HSI. The stack at WP4 will then deconflict with the other elements at other altitudes. I really enjoyed this mission and I am now looking at the RF campaigns. In my time in the air force as a mission planner and having watched live exercise missions on ACMI play out this was quite accurate in terms of how it unfolds. The RT in the background was amazing for immersion! Thanks Wags!
  13. So do we have no ECM at all? Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  14. It has been there for a while in the open beta. To me it almost sounds like the whine of a turbo prop. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  15. He also said in the comments on Facebook that is was far from a copy and paste job with the code and that whilst it was quicker than ATFLIR it was still a reasonable task. No time frame was mentioned I don't believe. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  16. I expect their mission planning software pre flight would do a lot of the calculations for them and is then loaded into the aircraft at startup. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  17. Awesome. Thanks. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  18. Great setup! What's the name of the aluminium framework you have used? Been looking for something similar myself but can't find any. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  19. If I am not mistaken the quality in both textures and polygon count on the Hornet Cockpit are far higher than the A10 which would probably be a big reason. Not sure if it's the only reason or not though. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  20. This video came onto my YouTube feed earlier and figured a number of people would be interested to watch it. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  21. If you assigned it to an axis double click the assignment in the settings menu to bring up the popup box, if the "invert" button is ticked untick it, and if its unticked then tick it. Should solve the problem.
  22. Force an update check from the start menu, eagle dynamics folder then "check updates"
  23. Any chance of a full fidelity vulcan module to go with this!?
  24. I could not hit the basket at all till I added a deadzone of 3 or 4 to help with twitches and then curves to smooth out the fine adjustment. Once I had this added it was considerably easier with some practice.
  25. I had issues with my X55 till I ran it from a powered USB3.0 Hub, if I pull the power to the hub windows still picks it up and it "works" but have some hickups, power back on and no problems.
