  1. Are you using a curve in your rudder Axis ?....if not add 25 to your axis and this will help.Go to your rudder Axis find 'Fine Tune' and add 25 to this,I also add in a deadzone of 1 too. For my full Axis curve set up see link below. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4380974&postcount=8
  2. After many hours of flight in the P-47D I've changed my rudder curve to 25,in fact I'm now using 25 on Pitch and Roll too, with a deadzone of 1 for each, just to take up any slight slack that might be there from within my hardware. These changes have really made the difference to me,I'm using 50% fuel in the tank on every flight, just so I can gauge the differences a little better each time I fly,so I've basically got the same set up on every flight. The aircraft now is very balanced,I should add these test flights are all with the aircraft trimmed out and operating the engine manifold at the respective 42 inches and RPM at 2550. The hardware I'm using is a TM Warthog combo and MFG Crosswind rudder pedals. Again,I hasten to add, what might work for me might not work for everyone else, but I truly believe these inputs create a good base to start with.
  3. Yes I know it's unlikely, and Jafa has informed me that the situation of the encryption has put him off even trying to work on it again, and I can't blame him,but I had to ask.
  4. Yeah, and they've been like that for a long time too,in fact they've probably been like that since they were implemented
  5. First class Suntag, the mod makes all the difference, superb enhanced gunsight reticle too
  6. Too bad the older Spitfire Engine and Gun Sound MODS no longer work within both the stable and the Beta versions of DCS,an update must have changed a few things. Both of these were highly immersive. Whilst I appreciate we've got to move forward,Jaffa's SPITFIRE sound mod was.....when it was working, the best Merlin sounds for a game I've ever heard. I was also using Rlaxoxo's fantastic Spitfire Weapon Sound Mod v4,this also has been rendered defunct by recent updates. If your reading this Jaffa and Rlaxox an update to your mods would be very much appreciated. With all respect to ED,the default engine sounds and gun sounds for the Spit are tame at best, sorry
  7. I too was thrilled to identify the instructor as Bunyap,I learnt all the early modules from watching his videos, and like many regard the gentleman as a true legend of DCS.
  8. Bump Yes,the S model was promised.....in fact,I only brought the MiG-19P because the S model was promised. It's now apparent, these promises were made to lure in the masses....should've known better
  9. Flying with the Open Beta today in my jug,I managed to get up close to a flight of B-17's and I realised they were all crewed, fantastic ! Excuse me if this has been implemented for some time, but it was my first encounter with the fully crewed up B-17,great job ED
  10. Thanks for the tip Paganus,I will definitely check I've got it closed from now on
  11. Yeah,it does seem to 'porpoise' about when diving, even when all trimmed out, trying to keep the nose still when strafing or dive bombing is quite a feat. I've been throttling back anyway when diving,as the jug dives really quickly,a well known historical character of the jug, because of it's enormous weight, and obviously the fm is taking this into consideration,so this is very realistic. However it's keeping that nose balanced in this dive, that's the issue,it's almost like it's buffeting in the turbulence when diving. My two pennies worth anyway, and this would be my only gripe,it's a superb module that's for sure.Given that it's only been released a few days I'm sure the devs will tweak it in the near future,so I'm quietly confident this will be addressed.
  12. I'm using the same curve as I use in my P-51D,which is 20,but these curve values are quite personal, your best bet is to experiment, and do this gradually so you can get the chance to see any benefit.
  13. Or....do as I did, just download and install the Beta,if you have the room on your PC you can run the two without any conflictions.
  14. My favourite, and in colour ! 362nd Fighter Group P-47 Thunderbolts over Germany in Color
  15. Just want to add my appreciation for your videos Phil, outstanding matey, and may I say, very much appreciated, hoping to get my hands on a jug very soon.
  16. Wow....That B/W pic looks superb Don,thanks for sharing matey
  17. I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before, but at present there are no visible trains after the latest stable update,or have they been missing a while?...they can be placed via the editor, but don't show up in play......or am I missing something ?
  18. This is great news Bo,I for one really appreciate the work and dedication that you guys skinning put in to update these masterpieces.Thank you very much indeed sir.....BRAVO
  19. WOW !!!!......What a gift,thank you so much Sir,the best P-51D skins,just got a whole lot better,fantastic work G
  20. +1 Hard to believe that this wasn't implemented as an option from the initial release,or at the very worse,as an update that would've been made available to us at a later date. This,(the doors),being such an iconic part of a Huey. Now,had we been discussing putting the doors on,I could've believed the reason why it's taken a while, but almost every picture of the iconic Huey in Vietnam, shows the chopper with the doors off or slid back.....funny how the devs see how the module should be created. To be discussing the possibility of a request by it's customers years after it's release,is quite sad,and very disappointing, that we the customers are having to beg the devs almost at this late stage to try and force the feature to be created. Well done DeltaXrayBravo for bringing this up
  21. Question...Would you buy a paid upgrade for Huey? My answer to this, strangely enough is no.....how many times do we have to pay to get a module corrected to a standard of perfection,to where it should be anyway?......As I was lead to believe, certain promises were made regarding this module, these have not been addressed and need to be addressed asap. Many of us purchased this module after reading and believing these promises would be forthcoming.....they have not. So,I would say,devs.....you've had our money, now sort the blessed thing out. Many of us are fed up with these half baked WIP modules,or as I refer to them as...WIP experiments. They are nothing more than money spinners, they get released far too early, come with all manner of bugs, glitches, fantastic promises, and then, when the dust has settled, and the novelty has worn off,the updates suddenly dry up completely,to make more time available for the next fashionable module, that's taken the devs fancy. If the price of these incomplete WIP modules/WIP experiments reflected their poor standard, this argument wouldn't arise....but they're not, they are expensive, and we,the customers expect a little more respect. I appreciate not all the WIP modules fall into this catergory of poor standard, but there are many that do,just read the bug reports. I would also go further, those customers that purchased that thing, called the Hawk,I'm not going to refer to it as a module should have received a refund,no question. The way those Hawk customers was treated was an outrage. I'm sorry if my words might upset the snowflakes amongst us,but honestly, the said question just beggars belief.

    Why No MiG-19 Skins?

Totally agree with Mainstay.......the MiG-19S will bring a lot more interest, the MiG-19P is a little baron when it comes to skin interest.
  23. First Class Sir.......As always ......Seasons Greetings BTW
  24. BRAVO Sir....BRAVO.
