Mod conflict with Arleigh Burke-class destroyer
BIGNEWY replied to Thehumanbean's topic in DCS Modding
Hi, welcome to the forum, I have moved your post to a more appropriate area, Can you show a screenshot of the issue? You may want to remove your unofficial mods and run a slow repair of dcs thank you -
Glad you have it worked out, enjoy!
-
Can you confirm that you have bound both triggers? The Weapons trigger on the left handgrip (LHG) and the LRFD trigger (Laser Rangefinder/Designator) on the right handgrip (RHG)? We only ask this to ensure there wasn't any confusion that there are two triggers on the TEDAC grips and each have two detents, but the left trigger only fires weapons and the right trigger only fires the laser.

Thanks, when I take control of the track all seems ok, are you sure your key bindings are correct?

Case II \ III - which weather conditions in DCS trigger each one?
BIGNEWY replied to BarTzi's topic in DCS: Supercarrier
The CASE type is selected at the time of the radio call for inbound, so whatever the weather or time is when the call is made the ATC will decide what CASE is being used. But please if you see an issue that needs checking attach a track replay. thanks -
Case II \ III - which weather conditions in DCS trigger each one?
BIGNEWY replied to BarTzi's topic in DCS: Supercarrier
Best thing to do is post a track replay example where the CASE seems to be wrong and I can have the team check it. thank you -
Case II \ III - which weather conditions in DCS trigger each one?
BIGNEWY replied to BarTzi's topic in DCS: Supercarrier
I have spoken with the team. it is not preset based, it is condition based. CASE III when it is dark, or cloud density > 8(of 10 max) and (cloud ceiling less then 1000 feet or there is precipitation) or fog transparency is less then 5% on 5NM distance else CASE I when cloud density < 6(of 10 max) or cloud ceiling more then 1000 feet and fog transparency is better then 5% on 5NM distance if none of conditions is met - it will call a CASE II Hope that helps. -

Hi all, the team have checked this and it is working as it should. "Joystick Without Springs and FFB" means that you don't use a FFB joystick and you have no spring in your joystick. If you have this hardware option it makes it more difficult with AFCS enabled. Essentially If you trim up - neutral goes forward when the real stick holds the position and DASH "thinks" that the pilot's input has gone back, so it increases the helicopter's pitch. I think we need to ensure the controls indicator shows the trim position better, this may help make it clearer. Please ensure you are using the correct joystick option for your hardware. thank you
