In the past I have suggested using Combined Arms modules as a way around the asset pack problem. Step one would be Combined Arms III- ideally I'd love to see something full fedeity. However if all we get is more like flaming cliffs with tanks I'd be happy as well. Just fix the VR issue (have us seated in the tanks), improve the AI, and models. Then do add ons which focus on different era and theaters. Then do the same thing with ships DCS: Fleet ops

My list based on how I divide the cold war and the era I associate aircraft with Early Korean war / Stalinist era (1945-1953) Anything my preference for the Red for would be for aircraft and other assets with service lives that overlap with the I-16 and MiG-15 first Blue for A-26 is needed, since we have the WWII asset packs anything in the way of early jets Eisenhower / pre-vietnam era (1953 - 1963) Anything the F-84f and B-47 are my main must haves for the USAF, Hunter Hawker, is the must have for the UK Mystre is the must have for France IL-28 is the must have for the Redfor Vietnam Era (1964 - 1975) USAF B-52D, B-66, F-105, EC-121, KC-135, AC-47, B-57, F-111 USN A-3, A-5 British V bombers, Canberra (I know already listed) , bucaneer, France - anything Red For- anything

This is why I have suggested a 3-way historic mode. Off loose - This would differ based on the aircraft for example if there is only one variant in DCS let's say the F/A-18 as long as it is after 1983 you can use it as long as the nation is the United States however non-period weapons will be removed so we could get as close to an A model as possible. While on the other hand the F-14 if we have anything after 1975 we can get the A and 1987 we can get the B just neither of them can get targeting pods and bombs until the late 1990s strict- -

Here is my wish list I'd love to see in any order Amphibious warfare ships like TARAWA and Samuel Chase should be spawn points for amphibious ground units and landing craft with limits on ground troops and vehicles landing craft and ships need the ability to deliver troops and vehicles to the beach More landing craft (LCACS for modern for example) Artillery - improvement spotting aircraft and forward observers More amphibious ships for all eras more ships

I'd love to following added to DCS Jolly Green and CSAR for helicopters Sandy and CSAR Escort for attack planes and may be attack helicopters if any nation uses them as Sandy As well as the option for downed pilots as a unit

The ability to fly fac or forward observer for AI

Something like this should be built into DCS. I'd add in the option to call in artillery as well -
I'd like more than AA guns, I'd love to have enough AI planes and ground vehicles. I would focus on assets that were in service along side the La=7 ( 1944 and 1953) as that would produce the most overlap between the I-16, and MiG-15.
