  1. Even with the interference it was a pretty awesome experience. I have a vr cockpit already, and the point control worked as advertised though it was jumpy in some configurations due to the issues Miles mentions. Flew some low level A4e sorties over San Carlos Bay and was making switch adjustments on the fly maybe 15 seconds before low level drop without an issues. Also same with F/A18c for case I. The point control works very nice on rotary switches. Hold button down, rotate finger! "Originally Posted by hansangb View Post ...how does and 18Z turn into cranking out a VR mouse? ..." Miles has been doing amazing things for as long as I've known him...(decades) Los
  2. Yes on several threads.... Also there’s a manual included with weapons procedures in the doc section of the C101 folder.
  3. The issue has persisted for me up to v102 (latest). Yes bullets and flak kill the A-4e just not missiles I have been hit by Rolands and Aim 9s w no effect.
  4. I am having an issue where the scooter seems to be impervious to AIM9s fired from Harriers, even though in the same mission other aircraft can be destroyed by Harrier equipped AIM9. I thought I saw that someone had mentioned this before in the past 60 pages? Can post mission if needed.... Los
  5. Nice work guys lots of fun!
  6. Same problem here after update as well using 1080ti. HTC VIVE
  7. Its both...depending on mode
  8. Well I have and used all three extensively and the Saiteks remain on my main rig (with many years of use), so its no joke. The crosswinds are fine too IMO but the extra money wont help you fly any better. I have two full flying cockpits. The guy asked an opinion, I'm in a position to give one on all three pedals. If he wants to throw money at some crosswinds it will turn out fine for him. But if money is an issue the Saiteks will give him no less a good experience. Better to spend the cash on a better hotas. "You must be jokng. Crosswinds are another dimension from plastic crap of CH and saitek. Not only in durability, feeling and precision but in customization also."
  9. You can also just take off perfectly fine without applying any trim, so there's that too...
  10. Condor_USAF is correct, adverse yaw is a term for the phenomenon that occurs in flight with an aircraft's natural tendency to yaw in the opposite direction of a roll. (Which you correct by keeping the ball centered.) Its just called Adverse yaw. It has nothing to do with anything that happens on the ground during taxing, and is one of the first things you learn and experience in flight instruction. (I remember it was the question my check ride instructor hit me with during my check ride.) Los
  11. I have a set of Crosswinds, CH Pro pedals and Saitek Combat Flite a pedals nd extensive experience with all of them. I have found the Saiteks the best overall mix of performance adjustable and price. They are on my main rig.
  12. I have 4 DCS accounts at my house: (me, two sons and a spare) Each needs its own account for us to fly via online or Lan or whatever. However you can have one be a server without that one having to own all the modules.
  13. Thanks, will probably do it as a mod. Los
  14. I'm looking to mod Allowing harriers to do A2A missions ala CAP (SHAR surrogate..got the skins already) . With the A4 out our group are cobbling together some Falklands missions. The Av8-b does not have any air to air mission tasks other than helicopter escort so right now our CAP over San Carlos has to flown by live humans. The Ai is allergic to engaging when assigned helo escort even when sticking a CH47 in the mission.-I have searched the forums on modding the missions/tasks available to any given AC to allow a greater range of missions but haven't found anything. Is anyone aware of a thread on this? Thanks. Los NOTE: Found it....this document was very helpful: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=116901

  16. Add a country to your coalition like Russia or insurgent and it will open up more units to place...
  17. 0 100 50 25 works great
  18. Hopefully you guys will consider anti-shipping strikes as a mission for the A-4e. Makes it easier for Malvinas ship attacks. Thanks. Los
  19. There's also the stock answer that the Navy and the Air force do things differently, they might as well be from two separate countries. ...that should suffice.
  20. Wonderful job and feels great in vr!
  21. I get it, but still, its nothing but an ego thing on their part. If they haven't done it, then no one's done it. I'm sure its amusing to USAF pilots. Amusing to outsiders.
  22. Just tested trim in P51d (both using axis and buttons and both work perfectly fine.) It's likely an operator head space and timing issue.
  23. "First kill of enemy aircraft since 1991" Well I guess it was , so long as you don't count USAF Fighters (F16s and F15s) which have about 10 kills post Gulf War I.... :pilotfly:
  24. Map a key to recenter vr view in the Gui, that might help align things
  25. Zues is awesome in Arma 3. This would be an immense jump in capability for running multiplayer servers. Los
