  1. Hi @ll, The Lowland Tigermeet 2006 has begun and you can be with us the whole weekend via video livestream! Check the LLTM homepage for the webcam links: http://www.lowlandtigermeet.de/index.php#
  2. Great shots! With the additional center fuel tank, I guess the backseater was considered unacceptable overweight...:music_whistling: Or it was a guest flying along who just bent over to vomit...:megalol: Man, I wish I had an actual sim featuring this birdie, something like EF2006... I guess I´ll have to drive the 60 km to the next Eurofighter base and ask them to let me fly in their shiny new sim.
  3. JaBoG32_Zillion released the latest version 1.41 and wrapped it all up in one complete package containing radar client, radar server, admin panel, source code and documentation. Download it here: http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=24&file=477&lang=en
  4. It was an awesome event to witness! I´ve been there together with 3 of my squadmates. Now Chrissi and Retsam put together a video of their hand-filmed photo and video footage. Opendagen 2006 Video Download Runtime: 14 mins, Download file size: 86 MB Enjoy!
  5. Alrighty, here you go: Those are our checklists that we made ourselves for flying in LockOn. They can be used with any flyable. If the checklist mentions a sensor or system that your current aircraft doesn´t feature, move on to the next point on the list. You can download them here: http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=37&file=474&lang=en For everyone interested, this is the Flightlog that we use for briefing and carrying out our missions: The Excel version contains some useful game tailored calculators for navigation, speeds and fuel. Download it here: http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=37&file=475&lang=en For any questions and suggestions contact me: woodstock@virtual-jabog32.de You may all use this stuff at your own discretion. If you alter or improve some features, please inform us so that we can evaluate your ideas for our own usage. Give and take! Take care, Woody
  6. No, you´re right. The top 4 Hind and 4 BMP screenies are new. ...and great stuff. If ED continues to release stuff with this unexpected speed, we´ll have the whole game in 2 weeks...:pilotfly:
  7. We have produced our own generic checklists for LOMAC which can be used with all default flyables. I´ll check with the other staff members if we think they´re good enough to be published or whether they remain internal. Stand by...
  8. Thanks a bunch, Rich, for this contribution! From a community point-of-view, this is the most valuable track/video you ever did. It´s gonna be a classic. We´re going to see new folks online just because of this. S!
  9. Yes, I can second that. Owning some Simpeds myself, they are a great piece of hardware!
  10. I would guess one of their complete pits to be around 80.000.- to 100.000.- Euros. I might also be totally wrong and way too low... ;-)
  11. I´ll be there, together with 7 or 8 squadmates. Looking forward to seeing many of you guys for a weekend of flights, drinks and chats!
  12. Not a good sign: SimWare just changed their estimated availability date for Black Shark from mid September´06 to mid February´07... http://www.simw.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=dsp_products_list&mid=1&smid=155
  13. I´m so milflightsim-starving in the meantime, that I will buy, love and appreciate anything showing up on the market. No matter where it comes from and what it incorporates, as long as it´s only halfway decent, I´ll fly it. So all you devs get to work and just do something, me wants to spend money!:pilotfly:
  14. Hi BRD, 1st, yes these Jackets are still used in the German Airforce and German Army. I don´t know how much a new original costs since they are not being sold to the civilian public. Used ones like yours are sometimes sold privately on ebay or via military surplus stores. There are some good copies available on the civilian market, made from real leather and in good quality, prices starting around € 200.- for a new one. If your friend is a good friend, I´d suggest you sell it to him for the € 60.- that you once paid yourself. That´d be a good deal for you and still a bargain for him... IMHO Greetz!
  15. Hi Olgerd, Nice to hear from you! Are you on the foto as well?
  16. I will not name the application I use to filter out high and low frequency bands from my mike sound input since I don´t own a license for that proggy... But I´m happy to point you all to a nice tool called "TSNoise" which was created for and by the IVAO community. This application underlies all incoming TS signals with a carrier-wave-like background noise and puts a mike-click at the end of each incoming transmission. Very nice! http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=103267 Enjoy!
  17. We use TS because it´s easy (and free) to host and administrate and because we don´t need no high codec / good quality. In fact we are experimenting a lot with sound alteration applications in order to create a "real" aircraft-radio-chatter-atmosphere. So we are interested in "bad" quality, frequency-bands being cut out, background carrier-wave noise and PTT clicks. Adds soooooo much to the atmosphere to have bad radio...!:pilotfly:
  18. Hurry up folding your rotor blades before the next tunnel comes...!
  19. JaBoG32 serves from Sochi-Adler since 2003.:pilotfly:  ...just kidding...:P
  20. Basically yes, however the number of live spectators is restricted by server capacity and slots required for staff, pilots and track recorders. This is also why last year´s show was held twice on 2 subsequent days. We tried to host 50 clients but only managed to run with ~40 smoothly. There were by far more people attending on Teamspeak though. For those not able to watch live, the sound and track recordings will be made available for download and anyone who wishes will be able to make videos out of the footage. Check out this one from last years event: http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=28&file=317&lang=en
  21. We´re staying in contact with Bublik about dates and other organisational matters. And we would love to host and co-organize the event once again, maybe this late summer or fall. S! @ll
  22. Welcome to The Community, Live long and prosperous!
  23. Nope, not an alternative, HiRevSims are not selling to private/civillian customers...
  24. So you say "phew" to 1.740 bucks? ...phew...
  25. Hi @ll! GOOD NEWS: http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=news&news=169&lang=en Our JaBoG32 Download Server is back online!
