  2. I recently got my 3D printer working decent.. you have some useful mounts or something for the stream deck or similar? I had been wanting to look and see if any decent 3D printed parts are floating about the forums.
  3. I searched the thread, but with 274 pages I can't read it all :-( I purchased the VIACOM Pro bundle before AIRIO, I have to purchase AIRIO separately right? I don't get it from my previous bundle purchase?
  4. I was reading some stuff a day or two ago and it was saying that in 2005 USAF stopped using JSOW. I can't remember if it was that they cancelled future orders, but still used what they already had, or if they actually stopped using them. Are you (or anyone) able to clarify? 5. I will say, there is a lot of interesting points here. I have pretty blindly supported all ED projects, but after VEAO, and the points made here about this studio.. I will be really looking for good info to make sure we get the support we should. In the end, I too will choose to vote with my wallet, thanks for your input. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

  10. i was really expecting 2020 release for F-16, my guess had been spring, but to see the target of Autumn, that is so awesome. Cant wait to see it come to life, will be pre-ordering as soon as it goes up. SO AWESOME
  11. I'm sorry to hear about the diagnosis. I sent you a private message to offer more specific help and my info. I would be happy to offer my assistance in any way I can for you guys. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  12. Sorry for asking again, but I don't know if you saw or answered. Do you plan on sharing just the final code or were you considering sharing the source code as well? Not a big deal, I'm just curious on seeing if I can learn anything from it. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  13. that looks like great progress, when you feel its ready will you have the source in a github repo incase someone can help with a pull request? i am not sure i can do much, but others might. looking forward to seeing it when you are are ready!
  14. mvsgas, Thank you for this, i think its important too. Im def not posting about how anything should or shouldn't be, but you are SOO right. The F-16 has been one of my favs for a LONG time and in the years i have tried to take notes of what functions, weapons, etc go with which plane and there are so many factors it was impossible for me to capture. I know ED will do their best to give is a good representation of the F-16 they are working on, balancing the real details of their model, with the details of making a consumer simulation (i will never say game). I think a summary of your post should be put into the OP of this thread, cause after a couple days no one will see this post unless it's one of the rare folks who will actually read 30 pages of thread history. That aside, thank you again for keeping us all on track and as well informed as you have. i have learned a lot from your posts.
  15. been following through this thread for a bit, i have 2 SD's and was considering if i should start to work on stuff with the various code/repos that have been shared so far. Since Ranma13 is going to switch over to trying to make a plugin, then i think that is the way to go. Im thinking im best to wait till the preliminary version of that and/or its repo are available and then i can start seeing what i can do with it. Looking forward to updates.
  16. it is good news that the Oculus S is pretty readable that lower resolution and readability issue with my Vive is what keeps me from using it with DCS as i would like. The Oculus S is at a good price point for a full system which makes it it's pretty compelling. I think they displays could be a bit better, but still not too bad. That said, there are a number of pretty good looking HMDs now that carry a price closer to the Oculus S with specs close to the Vive Pro which i just can't even start to justify purchasing. For me personally, I'm not going to be purchasing a new HMD until a lot of the pending devices see daylight. I am holding out the most hope that Valve will get the Index right (or close enough) with a new 'system' that has the specs we would expect on a 2019 device but without an $800+ price tag.
  17. bump anyone able to tell me how i can best help by seeding the content?
  18. How about.. this thread is for discussion of the DCS F-16 module... Just saying.. [emoji6] Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  19. It is very much accurate. YOu should be able to find OvGME on the forums here. The person that was maintaining that app has stopped doing so as well, but it still works perfectly with DCS. I do wish this thread would be un-stickied as the tool its all about doesn't fully work anymore, or the OP should be updated with such into and a pointer to OvGME or something like that.
  20. I feel the whole OP was click bait. Only the users 2nd post.. Maybe some can at least move this to Chit-Chat, it's def not news. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  21. Yea this makes sense to me as well. Its not that Jester has to stop, the calls are helpful. But systematically, Jester should know the target is locked up and that its within a certain cone or field of visibility off the nose (whatever the right size cone/field may be), and during that time calling the location could be reduced or only once. Then once the target brakes lock and departs that defined area calls can resume. Additionally i wonder about that the various 'Jester calls' after the target has been destroyed, i'm pretty sure this has come up though i haven't seen any official response (to be fair i haven't searched). But because the player is notified that the target is destroyed with a message on the screen (unless disabled?) i kinda think that info would/could/should be available through the API/SDK so Jester would stop calling lost locks and such after the targets been destroyed. I assume this has been looked at though and maybe there is a limitation that results in such calls being made, if not then maybe look at this too :)
  22. yea you would at least need the cockpit/aircraft interface to slew and lock the seeker and send the needed info to the missile for it to fire. you would likely have to code an entire external control system and interface which would likely be a TON of work, if its even possible. im sure with enough modification you could get the missile attached to the wing.. but getting it to any thing more than a cosmetic mod i thought would be VERY difficult if its even possible.
  23. good report and info, love the openness and REALLY hope to see it continue with the updates thank you
  24. good info, and thanks for correcting my incorrect response
