I've been using Weapons Delivery Manual, by Bunyap, for many years now. Direct Popup. Offset Popup. Works well on Mig 15/21, F-86, Harrier and F-15e. Use in CDIP, for unknown positions, where CCRP is not possible. More risky when AAA and Manpads are about. ..

Toss, Pop Up, or Low level, using slicks, CBU's or Rockeye's, the SAM defences have given no real opposition to low level DEAD missions against this airfield, from my F-15. Protecting this airfield are:- 2 SA3, SA6, SA10, SA11, SA13 and numerous AAA. The biggest danger was from the SA13, which chucked a couple of missiles at me, but the deadliest is from AAA. If you go in L/L, all of these are defeated. OK lets press on. Add manpads and SA15. ..

My method for taking out the tracking radar, in this case SA3 site. 12 CBU 97. Sea level approach. PoP Up to 900'AGL. CDIP. Back to Sea Level. Tracking Radar removed. ..

You can't straight roll a Gazelle because it has a floppy rotor and any negative G will destroy it, unlike a B 105 which has a solid rotor and can take up to -1 G. You can barrel roll a Gazelle, (in DCS), providing you keep G on all the way round. ..

O.E.A.D. Haha I like it. . 82's are OK, but you can't beat 97's for an OEAD. SA10, protected by SA3 and SA11. Plus numerous AAA, obliterated by CBU 97's. ..

Full load short runway. High Halden, 4200', 111', Nil wind. 100 % fuel. 4 x 500 lb bombs. 22262 lb. (262 lb overload). Flap 15%, Trim nose down 2.0, Aileron 1 tick right, Rudder, 0.3 to 0.5 right. 3000 rpm. Throttle to 4 lb boost against brakes, release and immediately increase to max 18 lb boost. Keep straight with rudder. Lift off at 120 mph. ..

Here's the scenario. China has total economic influence over Saipan/Tinian and builds a military airbase. China attacks Taiwan and forces an attack on Rota and establishes a Radar station and SA 11, SA 10 and SA 3 SAM sites, threataning GUAM. Anderson is destroyed by DF 26 missile attack from China. All that is left are a few Harriers and FE-15 aircraft. SAM's must be destroyed before full control of Rota is completed, using Toss Bombing of slicks and Rockeyes. I've been running this scene since the F15 came out and apart from the problem detailed earlier in your thread, which also affects the Harrier, the ASL has always stuck solid to the target diamond, wind or no wind. Not much help, but maybe it's an O/L thing. ..

Yes and I'm glad you brought it up. I would not have noticed it until I specifically looked. This shows that Polychop are on the ball with this new FM and I'm enjoying flying it as a pure helicopter experience. Pagan, Marianas. ..

That sums it up. Left roll is correct. ..
-
@davidp57 Maybe it's connected with this. ..

@Hiob Tried this with your settings. 90% load M model. I've been using the previous FM at full load, so the first take off in this FM, I fell over using too much pre T/O trim. I found it needed the tiniest amount of right rudder and minimal left stick. Eventually I applied these just after lift off with about 68% torque. to the hover in GE. Pulling away, more rudder was required, but I didn't get the left roll you saw. i'll give it more practice..

Check for double bindings, because mine is rock solid and very precise in all axes. ..

AP, (A), is AP on, Attitude Hold, then the sub menus. ..

The USAF have started an enquiry over the runway lights incident. Standard proceedure. ..

Pitch Trim Compensator is on all the time. Pitch and Roll ratio are the only pilot controls and should be on for normal operation. CAS is not required for auto trim, but should be on all the time. ..
-
I'm just going by the circuit diagram, which shows hydraulic pipes and mechanical conections, shared between the CAS Interconnect and PTC. These pipes go to the boost actuator. Bare in mind, I,ve never said CAS is required for auto trim, just that they are connected in the PRCA.
-
@KlarSnow The CAS and PTC are connected with the same hydro pipes to the servos, within the PRCA, but as you say, turn off the CAS and there's barely any noticable difference, auto trim still works perfectly. It was most noticeable in the T/O run, which was more difficult to rotate, but turning off the CAS, was less dramatic than I expected. Thanks for the reply. ..
-
The CAS and PTC are connected mechanically, electrically, and hydraulically together, within the Pitch/Roll Channel Assembly, to control the hydraulic servos to the flight surfaces. They are connected to the Pitch Ratio and Roll Ratio switches and all work together, within the PRCA.. ..

SEAD/DEAD, who needs a rocket, who cares? Harrier or Eagle, both are capable of dealing with SAM in DCS. Slice away as SA 11 site launches a missile. Love these 97's. There's a SAM site in there somewhere. ..
-
Bare in mind. The speeds for a normal T/O are calculated at 10 deg. for a plane without conformal tanks. With CFT it's 12 deg. ..
-
Pitch Trim Compensator automatically trims the aircraft, unlike a conventional trimmer, which trims out stick forces. ..
-
Normal mode is PITCH CAS ON, PITCH RATIO AUTO. ..
