I was reading this thread and as someone suggested , the trees quality was reduced in order to improve performance https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=211424 I also noticed that the trees on my end looks very flat and not as beautiful as they apperead in some old pre-release videos, but I cant find those vids any longer.

hi, I know this has been discussed also in other threads but I can't find a final answer to this : do we currently have a different trees quality compared to those seen during the tease videos that were posted on youtube before 2.5 was released? I mean do we still have speedtrees technology at the moment or has this been removed and we are just running old quality textures in 2.5?? Could someone post the old tease vids with the beautiful trees? Thanks :thumbup:

you need samsung b-die memory sticks , check it out on goodle, B-DIE is the answer :)

3-5 fps....you will not even notice them......i can tell you, (i deeply tested both of them) there is absolutely 0 difference. :thumbup::thumbup:

I have both a NVME m2 970EVO 500GB + a samsung 850evo 500gb: for dcs and any other game there is 0 differene, the only difference is like 4-5 seconds faster when loading up the game, that's it. No difference in terms of fps or stuttering :thumbup:

we know, it is not the only one who has no pilot, even the f15 has no pilot....nor the av8b for example.

F18 and F14 are being devloped respectively by Eagle Dynamics and Heatblur Simulations therefore are 2 indepenednt modules from each other, even tough the F14 and F15E (which is being developed by Razbam) are dependent on the air-ground radar under development by Eagle Dynamics :)

Hi all, is it just me or the waypoint designatation as a target is broken in the current version? Previously I just select a wypoint on the HSI then press WPSDS (or whatever is called) in order to have the waypoint as a designated target on the HUD , but now when i select a waypoint and press WPDSGSD nothing happens.:cry:

yes it could be, I am running my 8700k @5.0ghz, but maybe I'll downloack back to 4.8ghz which seems smoother despite temps are not exceeding 55°C :(

the real problem here IMHO is the lack of ED personel working on the hornet : 4 guys, each one on a differeny system.

+1 After all of this time we dont even have a working a2a radar which is bugged , I also think that with all the income that ED got from us customer who bought the F18 they should add some more people to develop this plane. As per Matt's statement : We, for the most part, have four guys working on Hornet systems and here is what they are working on: 1- JHMCS. Afterward he moves on to the HARM. 2- AGM-65E. Once done, then AGM-65F and G. 3- A/A radar antenna. When complete, then LTWS. 4- FPAS page. Then after that, then probably “soft lock” IFF or Data Link / SA page. I mean 4 guys, 4 working on all of this stuff? :noexpression:
