Try to delete metashader and fxo folder under useer\saved games\dcs then restart the game, these 2 folders will be re-built automtically. :)

with gync monitor is always better to have also vsync on (in game or nvidia I see no difference with regards to dcs), then use rivetarurner to cap fps a 60. ;);):thumbup:

turbo boost max, is that a software that come along with the new i9 series? on my 6600k/770k/8700k I never had the need to change cpu affinity, it seems that only some particular cpu's are affected.

@bitmaster: actually I would suggest letting windows to manage the page file automatically, there is 0 difference or benefit from having it by default or manually to 32 gb, I''ve also tried disabled and see no difference.

do youselfe a quick test if you are using trackir : pause trackir and use your kebord numpad to move around the cocpit, left/right and watch out the cockpit , voitlà there is 0 stuttering. The stuttering you are seing is caused by trackir. Ttha's a fact.;)

it is proably a non compatibility between OPENGL which is used by trackir and game which runs in D3D.....basically you have trackir being rendered in opengl and the game in d3d and as the 2 are not running at same fps/timeframe this generates stutter, That's why there are no trackir stutters when the game is locked at 60fps. jUST my 2 cents. In alll the videos on youtube everyone is stuttering with trackir :)

there are problems on how windows dwm ( dekstop windows manager) manages the fullscreen/window mode, etc etc. with latest 1803 build .its being discusses since long time on nvidia forums. even with best computer out there you cant run both MSAA and SSAA, run one or the other.

indeed ED promised a full detailed carrier including crew etc etc with elevators and stuff, so far we only have a basic standard oldstyle carrier which is sthe Stennis.

Actually I dont think that pagefile is being properly report my MSI, just a simple example : in my OS win 10 pro latest built the pagefile is automatically managed by the OS itslef and it setup a pagefile of about 5gb, but despite being set to a maximum of 5gb , pagefile usage in MSI afterburner shows 20-25gb. So how is it possible that despite maximum dedicated pagefile size is 5gb , it consumes 25gb?? I think it is a bug.

defered shading cannot be disabled, it is now built in engine so there is no way to disable it.

its only for cinematic use for external use only, it doesnt affect 1st person view...

the problem is MSAA not being compatible with defered shadding.

there's not way to remove this effect, anti.aliasing, sSSA, changing resolutuons , settings etc nothing can solve it, i think its the way ED coded the effect into engine.

vulkan is coming, also Nineline has stated that they were going to complete some tests by the end of this month...so finger crossed.

if you're nunning the DCS standalone NON-STEAM version you can delete the other steam version, there is no need to keep it Moreover as its been stated many times there is no need to have 2 separate installtion of Stable and BETA , just downnload the beta (or the stable) and via a simple shellcomand you can upgrade from stable to beta and viceversa anytime you want.
