  1. Haven't really played much with the inst mode but my educated guess is that when employing the ILS function, you would get navigation steering and symbology displayed. Similar to the F-16 navigation mode too.
  2. My bad here. Kneeboard is working as intended. I accidentally switched the mode switch on my Virpil CM3 throttle to another mode and that changed my keybinds. I am good here even while using the black cockpit mod and thanks for the follow-up Seldo.
  3. Hey. Love this mission. The kneeboard obviously contains some very immersive and relevant information. For some reason I cannot get the kneeboard to show. My kneeboard keymapping correctly done as it works in other missions.
  4. I believe it is called Secondary Shadows in the system menu.
  5. Fantastic. Can't wait to experience all these new stuffs coming to the Syria map. Good job Ugra Media.
  6. Thanks. That solved the issue. Selected openxr APi and it worked. The new app is really feature-rich.
  7. I cannot launch into VR with new version of app. It goes into 2d mode after clicking Launch VR ON. I still have the old version and that does launches into VR mode. Is there any further setting required for VR to work in the new version?
  8. Special salute to you SkateZilla. Much appreciation for your work.
  9. Okay that is well know and breaks the flow by have to pause the game and go to the control menu. I am looking for some kind of display on active play window if that is possible.
  10. Is there a way or mod that will temporarily display my key Mapping for a particular module on the screen for easy recollection of my HOTAS mapping. The F-15E just got released and I am spending all my flight hours learning the systems and configuring the controls. Pretty certain when I go back say to the Hornet or Ah-64 again, I would have to start trying to remember my key mapping all over again. Any way for an easy conversion route in terms of controls by showing HOTAS key press mapping somewhere in the corner of the screen specific to a particular aircraft.
  11. Thank you for keeping the DTC mod running and updated
  12. Initially taking the f-15 for a ride brought my attention to that ECS sound. I did not know where it was coming from at first We are all different when it comes to tolerance level and that ECS sound level at default settings when I fly in hot start mode is really overwhelming for me personally. Others call deal with it at that level and that is just great. I knew better later about how to resolve this issue for my personal sound tolerance level. The maker of the real F-15 Strike Eagle has made provision for this and Razbam implemented it. 1. Aircon switch max/Medium/low at low 2. Aircon source at left or right engine These two option considerably reduces the ECS sound to a very bearable level for me and I get the best of both worlds ( personal convenience and sound realism. I feel cool enough in the cockpit on a very hot day ( [emoji12]) with these settings and my avionics systems are well taken care of. The only concern is if in the future failures and damage model implementation changes things with having these preferred settings on the ECS panel as someone has put out there. I am an armchair pilot here who really likes it realistic as far as can be implemented for us PC pilot so well done Razbam. 14. While acknowledging the points you raised against the new training method by BD, I do prefer this quick and concise approach dealing with specific system at a time. I play in VR and it is tiring to reach out for my keyboard and figuring out where the spacebar is every now and then. Perhaps the training wordings can be made to stay longer on the screen. 15. +1 support for this feature. Having to set this up in every single mission is becoming frustrating. A simple default one I modify and save to my call sign name will do. We really need DTC implemented. ED please lift this weight off our shoulders. 16. Nice find. So much better with the air-conditioning set to min. Thanks. Ryzen 5 5600: RTX 3070: 32g Ram: Virpil Cm3 Throttle :Thrustmaster warthog flight stick: Thrustmaster TFRP rudder:Samsung Odyssey plus Vr headset :
  17. Hello Deephack. Big fan of your weekly video.(Virtual Air force) I really like it realistic. An hour flight with that constant sound is a concern. I got a way around it though. Change Aircon source to one engine instead of both. 18. I just experimented with turning the air conditioning source to come from only left or right engine and the noise is reduced. At least I would not fry my avionics systems as it did not trigger the dspflolo caution warning while on one source. I can manage with that sound level. 19. I am okay with it being the real thing with SE. Like someone has suggested , there is need for an option in the special tab to turn the ESC noise down somewhat. That sound is a bit too overwhelming for me. Ryzen 5 5600: RTX 3070: 32g Ram: Virpil Cm3 Throttle :Thrustmaster warthog flight stick: Thrustmaster TFRP rudder:Samsung Odyssey plus Vr headset :
  20. Razbam implemented the movement of the radar beam as it hit the it's azimuths on both side and bangs against the restraints. That is the thumping sound you hear. If you get to damage the nose of the jet and blow up the cover, you would see the radar cone moving like real. Razbam really did some cool stuff with that one for sure. 21. Are you using "--force_enable_VR" or the whole line you have on your post when modifying dcs exe? Putting "--force_enable_VR" has always worked without issues. 22. Is the constant whooshing sound in the cockpit of the f-15 strike eagle realistic? The sound overwhlem the engine and afterburner sounds Throttling up in the hornet and viper gives this increasing pitch sound and you can tell that you are increasing power . Not so for me in the strike Eagle. This sound is not coming from ram air in when in flight as I could hear the sound when parked. 23. Looks like the designing of the F-15E is different in regards to speed break indicator in the cockpit. I could tell though from the sound coming out when the speed break is applied. 24. I am locked out here too. All my purchased modules are inaccessible.
  25. Virpil Cm3 Throttle is great. Lots of buttons and switches. The winwing F-16EX is what I plan to get as an upgrade from my present thrustmaster flightstick because like someone already said, if you plan to have heli and modern fixed wing modules, a hotas with plenty of buttons, switches and rotary dials would serve you well.
