  1. JG-1_Erhardt will not be able to make it, last minute conflict.
  2. I think I've cleared it up. It appears the server doesn't like having no mission loaded, even if it's stopped. I can work around it by launching a new mission and then deleting the old one.
  3. AI V-22s definitely make me happy to fill out some of the MAGTF that the Harrier is missing. EDIT: the VC-10 will be great for early Iraq/Afghanistan missions, too!
  4. Anyone else getting stalls when trying to delete a mission from the "List of missions." It hangs and I have to restart the dedicated server program in order to clear. It tends to not clear the last mission ran.
  5. I had just finished Michael Franzak's A Nightmare's Prayer where he specifies they didn't have the capability to drop through clouds in 2002/3 since they didn't carry JDAMs, clarifying that they have since equipped the ordnance. The reasons weren't identified, though, I had thought it was an integration of electronics issue but thought your post provided another relevant point.
  6. Initial USMC Harrier deployments to OEF didn't even carry JDAMs, only GBUs. Probably because of those shortcomings.
  7. Isn't the DDD° MM' SS" entered into the UFC convert to DDD° MM.mmm' when displayed on the EHSD Data page? I'm still longing for UTM/MGRS waypoint entries!
  8. From my experience in various combat zones, civilian traffic varies from light to heavy but is hardly ever off. If there is a curfew in place, sure, there is nearly none, but those are the ones we're looking for, isn't it?
  9. These events are in coordination with the 104th, who fly all the -14s/-18s. The sign-ups provide OPFOR for them.
  10. JG-1_Britchot - MiG-21
  11. Harrier and Hornet within the last few months, in VR, though.
  12. 20, yeah, fair enough. Though I did mount a PVS-4 on my M-16A2, once. Once. PeterP had a wonderful mod for the A-10C, a while back. Too many breaking updates has kept me from a lot of mods, though.
  13. It's been a number of years since I used NVGs (AN/PVS-7Bs), but I believe there was a manual gain control. Yes, it isn't brightness but it did affect the level of amplification. I assumed that was what the simulator is trying to replicate.
  14. Thank you so much for hosting, Alpenwolf. I realized after leaving TS that my Mic was muted :/ JG1 definitely enjoyed the scenario and the chance to fly our beloved MiG-21s. We make great decoys for ROSS to slip in and hit the Stennis, twice! Special thanks from us to to Variable with some fine GCI calls and Davey and #05 with the personal cover.
  15. For my squadron, that is exactly what has occurred with the -19. Looking forward to a more playable -19.
  16. JG-1_Britchot - MiG-21
  17. I used to use iControl with the A-10C before switching to VR, great program. I don’t have a suggestion to help your issue but I do have a recommendation to post this thread in the Input and Output sections for more visibility. https://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=96
  18. I can't let this fall away, sorry. Coxy_99, the software that IS "the server" is an application that is installed and running on YOUR computer. If you shut that computer off, the application no longer runs. Therefore, it can not be accessed. If you want a persistent server to "run all the time", you have to have the software running on a computer that runs all the time.
  19. The Tomcat has the best virtual pilot of them all. If you get the chance, sit RIO with another VR user up front and have a conversation. You can actually see their head bob as they speak, it is simply awesome. I also went with a 9700k and 2080ti upgrade, recently. I don’t have any groundbreaking tips, I’m still sitting around 45 with everything turned way up in amazement.
  20. I'm a huge fan of the USMC F4Us (VMF-211, especially) but would also love to see some Royal Navy love, maybe the HMS Glory :geek:
  21. Please review Victory205’s lengthy explanation on spin recovery.
  22. I'm just hoping we can get the nose number selectable from the rearm menu or ME.
  23. I use Oculus home and mirror Restream.io into a window between my "legs." It's difficult to keep scanning, especially when I'm tired or the chat has been dead, but it's there and works best for me, thus far. Never did try Jabber's mod, since I needed a solution for Elite Dangerous and IL-2: Great Battles.
  24. What PD were you guys using? You know, for reference ;)
