It would be nice to have the option to turn the plane around if you pull into a bunker. Either part of the repair function or another menu option. Another thing missing is allowing repair when wheels are worn due to bad landing etc.

Both the Trackir 5 and X52 pro are great choices. The trackir takes a few days to really get used to. After about 2 weeks of use you won't even realize it's there. When you watch youtube videos you'll find yourself moving your head and trying to look around. Good Luck

I've always turned it off on my machines. Who wants your machine shouting to the world it's location?

A couple of things to consider and I recommend. I have the Gray rocker on the right of the throttle programmed for zoom. I have the paddle switch on the Joystick programmed to center trackir. Both come in handy quite often.

Some days are better than others. Last couple of nights I went for hours and never had a problem. Some nights I get frequent crashes and others Connection interrupts. What I do now is if I get a crash I try again. If it crashes again I hang it up for the night. Looking forward to the next patch which is finally supposed to fix it. Fingers and toes crossed.

What driver version are you running? The latest is 7.0.3.7

I dont have that stick but had a sidewinder years ago. Force feedback sticks have a sensor that tells it when your hand is on it. Nice thing is you can take your hand off to sip a drink and it'll stay in place. It might even help with formation flying. Dont cover the sensor and you can fine tune the stick.

Not crashing has nothing to do with using DMZ. You'll find that it goes in cycles. I'll go several nights without a single crash, others I can't stay on for more than a half hour before a crash. The game is evil. It waits until you spend the time to get to the target area before hitting.

The G940 will work just fine. Just practice.(This sim takes a lot of it but worth it.)

As far as Etiguette goes, Don't take off from the taxiway, don't shoot weapons at friendly bases or planes, Check that there are no planes landing before entering the runway, and don't try to fly in formation while you're learning, especially if the other pilot doesn't know you're near him.:thumbup:

That's normal, Just trim the plane. You'll find turning a bit awkward if you have 2 short on one side. I try to turn with the heavy side down.

I would try backing the clock to 4.0 or even 3.8 to see if things clear up. You should only be overclocking if you have a good cooling upgrade. Stock Heat sinks aren't meant for OC.

You minus well move forward and get up to date. With each update you'll be that much more behind the curve. Any game is going to have bugs. Next update is due soon which should fix even more.

If you're losing specific objects it isn't the graphics card. That looks like a group of object files missing. Upgrade to the latest. The Multiplayer crash is annoying but really doesn't hit too often.

Isn't the code for the individual weapons set in the DSMS inventory section? If so can't you pick 2 bombs, give one the code of the launching aircraft and the other bomb the code of the friendly aircraft?
