  1. Skouras Trakir is even a bigger must than the Warthog. There's no time like today!!! Imagine driving a car and not being able to look around freely. That's the difference when using trackir. dr_after. Welcome to the communnity. Looks like you're making quick progress. The addiction has begun. Hang a picture of your wife or significant other next to the monitor so you remember what she looks like. :pilotfly::joystick:
  2. Moving the mav to the target should also work. If you have several vehicles just use TGP to target the first, then assign mav to spi. remember to china hat forward to zoom with the mav. After you shoot the first mav immediately zoom with the mav and find the next target/tms up to target. Practice and you should be able to get off all the mavs including hits on all of them.
  3. They have been very accurate for me. However kills aren't always displaying but still recording.
  4. The way I think of it is in real life if you are on a CAS run you have the ground boys telling you that it hit. Same as the message to me.
  5. Has anyone else had problem with auto pilot since the last patch? Was happening to a few of us in the 104th server last night. The auto pilot beeps like normal but then shortly after the plane drifts like the auto pilot was turned back off. If you click again it beeps confirming that it was off. The woman's voice saying "warning auto pilot" does not come on. <S>
  6. Raising landing gear while still on the runway :music_whistling:
  7. Stick with one thing at a time. Learn it well, then move on to the next. Since you started the AGM I'd learn it inside and out, then move on to the next weapon. Of course before doing any of that, make sure you know how to fly and land well :music_whistling:
  8. Sure they do, Just shoot you down and the lights go with the plane. :D
  9. Pinkie did it. I must have hit it when cleaning. One of the switches that never gets touched. Thanks
  10. Yes, even after the engines are running and the apu has been turned off. All warning lights cleared on the board and taxing.
  11. Get used to asking. Eventually you will take a sam hit and lose your tad. The ATC calls will get you home.
  12. Since the first release of 1.2.3 I have had trouble getting the anti-collision lights to work. When I flip the switch it throws right back. Been using them for quite a while and haven't changed when I throw them.
  13. I'm happy to see that they are continuing to refine the on-line stability and not just move on after 1.2.3 release.
  14. As noted before, they're server side options. If you don't like them find a server that doesn't have them enabled. (I'd say it's more than half of them)
  15. I have no problem using ccrp with the 97. Just set the HOF to 900 or 1200. The default of 1800 is a bit too high.
  16. Just to add. Cold air is denser at the same altitude. It gets much colder and less dense with altitude.
  17. Just google the name of the manual. I don't see any references to the document being classified but it usually isn't a good idea to post as noted before. It is interesting reading and similar to the DCS manual. I think the OP was actually asking something that I also am curious about. Is there somewhere where we can get basic procedures such as the communication used when taxing, taking off, approaching etc etc? In other words the one that tells us not to say, "Hey Joe in the tower, can I drive to the runway now?"
  18. As Konrad noted, the game is already set up for the stick. If you use the default settings it will match the game manual. As to the comment that "you obvouiously have no idea how to use it !!" You're right. The majority of Warthog users haven't used target because they don't have to. If it was needed in another game I'm sure that anyone who can figure out how to use the A-10 sim can also figure out how to use target. <S>
  19. Basically world is simply the same thing as the map/enrivonment in BS2. Instead of having a separate game/environment for each aircraft, (which is what BS2, FC2 and A-10C were), they decided to do it right and make the platform similar to Microsoft Flight Simulator, where you have the "world" and purchase the aircraft to go into it. It's nothing more than that.
  20. That looks like a profile for Target software. Most don't use it in game. The curves can be set in-game and there are threads on what to use.
  21. If you go to home above this page and then to the downloads section you can find missions in the user file section. Some of them are very good.
  22. I played the track and concur that the problem is the Eng Oper switches. After Your engine start I took control and messed with the settings. Simpy returning the switches to normal does not fix the problem if you started with them in that position. You have to return them to normal and shut down the engines. After shut down you then can start as usual.
