  1. There are plenty of servers without a pw
  2. oops here's a few where you see it used
  3. LOL :megalol:
  4. Hang in there, it's worth the wait and hastle. Wait till you try to start the engines the first time :music_whistling:
  5. You can also try the torrent if it's available.
  6. No FTP stands for file transfer protocol. I have one and use it to transfer large files to people.
  7. Try downloading from another of the links. I've had the same happen before.
  8. Before you look at getting a warthog joystick, consider the Trackir. It is much more significant and will change your game and your enjoyment forever. Here's a vidoe of someone learning to use it in the A-10
  9. That's because it isn't a clickable cockpit like the A-10C You use keyboar commands which you can map in the controls section.
  10. Welcome: Start Here. Download all 4 files into a directory and run to install world. Get it running first, then download each module you own and run them. After that go to the start menu and select update. Repeat the update until it catches up and sees no more.
  11. If I were you I'd hit it every hour just to make sure. Be sure to set the alarm clock too. :pilotfly::joystick:
  12. While looking in the controls section I noticed a command for Playback Track Cancel. Does this stop the recording of the track file?
  13. congrats on the new stick The serial number should be on a plate attached to the throttle, not the joystick 189 would be an early version which should need a firmware upgrade if it doesn't have one already. Mine is about 10 months old and is serial number 07160.
  14. :thumbup:That's excellent news. Will have to give it a shot.
  15. True server software doesn't actually run the game with graphics etc. It may run the physics and manage the traffic from the internet but that should be about it. That way the machine wouldn't create any lag etc
  16. Looks like 1.2.3 is still on track with the features and fixes in the original thread. The new cockpit and other features mentioned in this thread that were not in the original thread are a couple of months out. Probably time to lock this thread before our heads start to spin ;)
  17. Just wait until it comes out. Chances are it won't be a big deal to update.
  18. Have the mav's been selected and warmed up?
  19. I used to complain more about the price of gaming software until I thought about it more. The money it cost to build the PC was over 1500 bucks. My Warthog Joystick, Trackir, and Saitek Combat pedals cost 700-800 more. So why complain about 40-50 dollar software that is the reason the other stuff exists? Also there are vastly more man hours and cost spent creating the software.
  20. Don't know. Can you by any chance see the middle mirror off to the side when looking at one of the others?
  21. With so many changes I wouldn't expect anything until after the Holidays. Rule of thumb is that you don't release anything that involves changes right before a weekend or holiday. Reason is that if there is a big problem you don't have to worry about staffing to fix or reverse it. Many industries including mine practice the same caution unless you absolutely have to.
  22. Here's what it should look like. The Ai infantry should be soiling themselves like the boys in this video:
  23. If you can afford it, consider getting trackir. Once you try it you won't go back
  24. Off subject. You'll get your answer quickly in the DCS world section, try posting there.
  25. I had 3 freezes tonight in MP and with high end equipment. If it isn't fixed with the next patch I'll be hanging it up and selling the controllers etc. Just sick of wasting hours playing just to have the game hang up after long transit times. Love the sim when it works but don't like wasting my time more.
