  1. Yes, I know. Cockpit textures not good for PBR shaders.
  2. We don't have any crew yet, but we thought about utlizing the IFOILS Argument Numbers to drive Paddle's Arms and Legs
  3. The plot board can easily be made with rotating discs, but being able to write on it would require ED's support.
  4. We are using professional recordings of John Deere tractors cutting grass along the highway.
  5. It's not our bug to begin with. The 21 still uses ED's pilot. While we have a new pilot that's ours, it is not ready to use. As for your ticket on the Mantis board, it's a duplicate
  6. Dear Pilots, The long awaited news update from our company is now live! Let's make 2022 our year! https://leatherneck-sim.com/2022/01/06/2022-new-years-update/
  7. Sorry, but we're here to stay, despite your negative opinions. You may think that we're not competent, but we have our priorities too. And at the moment, it's the F4U. The 21 is not in a state of ruining game play 100% and hundreds of non-forum users are having fun without complaint. Even with the bugs, Reddit users are reporting it to be super fun. Yes, there are bugs (some of which creep up after ED compiles their code for an update), but which modules have zero bugs and are 100% complete? As long as ED keeps updating their code, nothing will ever be 100% finished. Maybe you shouldn't buy anything from ED as well, until they are 100% finished with DCS World and their modules.
  8. Programmers are working to fix sounds. Hopefully next patch solves problem.
  9. That doesn't look like any of the default cockpit textures. I recommend searching where ever these are and deleting them. Or get i contact with the artist to update it.
  10. Dear pilots, Due to an unforeseen critical computer error that had our news update information, we are unable to provide this year's Christmas update. We have decided to push it to the first week of January. We have great things in the pipeline, and really think everyone will enjoy what we have to show soon. From everyone at Magnitude 3, we’d like to say thank you for your continued loyalty and faith in us. Put your feet up and have a well-deserved rest this Christmas and let every day of the holiday season be filled with joy.
  11. No worries. At least we all know now. Great job troubleshooting it. It is weird that they need to be in saved games, when they are part of the default DCS World install.
  12. You say a handful of 3rd parties, who else is it, besides AvioDev and Mag3? Do the host servers you fly on, have nations specified that locks out liveries not associated?
  13. F O L L O W T H E L I G H T ! !
  14. Regarding early Libyan insignia:
  15. Is this openBeta or Stable version? You may need to report this bug to ED Every livery works on my side:
  16. H A P P Y T H A N K S G I V I N G ! ! Thank you for the continued support and insane patience as we develop the F4U and make small fixes to the 21.
  17. Message not particularly directed to you, but the fans. This right here is why the Corsair is taking a while, not to mention the assets that will be included. If you guys saw what it truly looked like in 2019, there'd be to many complaints comparing it to Heatblur. The original F4U had awesome textures, but they were not PBR compatible and low res compared by today's standards. On top of that, it was so horribly modeled. Not that the mesh was horrible, but the accuracy. I made the decision to redo everything from scratch. Blame me for the delays, I really don't care. I too want to release a complete product, and that's what I set out to do in the art department. We're really close anyways guys, and we'll have some exciting content to show soon. December timeframe.
  18. Your message is a bit confusing, when you say the default skins are showing. If that's the case, then there is no bug on our side, but rather a few things which may be causing you issues with custom skins: 1: Host server setting 2: Not using an official WinZip archiver 3: Description.lua syntax errors
  19. I can think of a few things off the top of my head. 1. Give it a longer time to load 2. Make sure there is no alpha channel. 3. Clear the cashed Meta / fxo shader files located in the Saved Games folder.
  20. Im still trying to figure this out. I still haven't found the cause
  21. 2018 is when Autodesk revamped their code. During this time ED had been rewriting the plugin code as well. It wasn't until 2019 or 2020 when the plugin became avail for those versions, thus 2018 never had a plugin built for it. You'll need to upgrade or downgrade unfortunately.....or try using Blender and the unofficial plugin.
  22. 2.7.5.xxxxx - 2021 September xx MiG-21bis: Adjusted the alpha channel in the landing lights' texture. Added two Hungarian Griffen liveries by Jack. Christen Eagle II: Fixed DLLs causing DCS to crash
  23. Gunfreak, Though we are a team of 4 core members and hired contractors when needed, we will continue to push our boundaries in quality as DCS World improves. We are the first 3rd party team to release a module back in 2014...and back then, DCS World was very much different. We continue to update our modules as time allows, and at the same time develop, research, and program more modules to come. The only thing the Corsair won't have, is ED's new damage model system....as they are still working on it behind the scenes. We have implemented the new propeller visual ED has created though. I'm currently working on cockpit UVW unwraps and texturing. In the end, users are the judge, so it's up to them if they would like to support us or not.
  24. Nothing will need to be changed.
