I found that just letting the Throttle stay where it is(not cutoff currently by default) works just fine. You dont have to move anything and it starts right up. The 2-3 times it spools back I found the Starterbutton looked like it was stuck in the pushed position, usually happens when I start up with left mouse but the horn sounds and I right- clicked the warning away while still pressing LMB. Btw: If you think you are doing everything exactly right but its still not working, it usually is because youre not doing it right. I always got frustrated with the F16 because it never started, but idiot me didnt wait long enough for the SEC light to go out ^^

I withdraw my statement! Ive just tested them all(nearly) and they all do as you expect them to..just not the F1. Maybe it was like this earlier but yeah you are right, its only the F1. What I found is, that the AC differ greatly how fast the blackout comes or how long you can stay in a blackout without getting unconscious( looking at you F/A-18)

Hey, Ive noticed, that in all modules the plane keeps the current sticksetting even if you are blacked out. Instead the unconscious Pilot should relax the stick and not keep pulling, pushing etc. Its been like this forever and it would be a nice fix.

I know what an IFF is and how it works, Im asking if it works in the F1 since Redkite said its not modelled Edit: Just saw the manual pic, so there is my question again: Why would you not simulate it, basic on off like in all of DCS except maybe the Jf17 would be fine. Thats what I wanted to know from the start, will they just never do it or is it to come?

Stupid question maybe but whats the big iff panel for then? Edit: I understand that the interrogator is lacking, but the IFF Panel we have still allows others to see as as red or blue...so this should be functional

That should be correct. Why do you think airforces switched from 7.62 etc to 20mm cannons and higher? There are several examples were pilots reported hundreds of hits by "small" caliber bullets to no effect. You really have to hit vital parts...(plus thats why even the I16 got cannons in the end)

AFAIK as soon as you open the ACM Cover it should be in flood mode but @Bremspropellerknows for sure
