If I understand the situation fully the MiG-21 implementation isn't exactly perfect since it has some locations that don't actually have RSBN transmitters. I think the L-39 is supposed to have more accurate locations.

I think we should continue that discussion here rather than revive the old thread. The crux of this in my opinion is having a purpose for the recon pod in DCS. Being able to relay images and perhaps (if the pod in question has the capability) co-ordinates to ground pounders and maybe update the briefing pages with them could be a game changer. However in real life I think pods like these had to have the pictures developed first which might take several hours. So maybe not so useful after all.

A bit like the Bearcat with its exploding wingtip "safety" feature that I don't think made it onto production Bearcats :lol:

I don't think any Typhoon in the world can use Brimstones operationally yet anyway Legacy Brimstone isn't an incredibly new system though and I believe they were integrated on GR9s at least

I love the idea of using the wide array of optical sensors and weapons that were available for the GR7/GR9 in DCS I think the best thing is that any mission for the A-10 could conceivably be used for the Harrier (maybe with minor modifications like probe and drogue tankers) so we've already got an incredible amount of content for it. The lack of radar doesn't really bother me I don't think, we already have much more capable fighter aircraft than the harriers ever were in DCS (Mirage 2000 obvioously is an example)

This is the only issue I have, I think the TDC movement speed is fine

Having seen slow motion footage of snakeye drops they seem to be on some kind of short timer. The Paveway I GBU-12 has fixed wings (so maybe incompatible with the multi ejector racks, not sure if French airforce ever used them this early While Paveway II indeed has folding wings (obviously) triggered by a cable during the release sequence
