  1. Recoding lua files every update is the other option. But i guess that's for when theres nothing else left to explore and in need of an extra hobby in algebra. For singleplayer it's your own game, but multiplayer hosts usualy don't like to heavily modded in technical aircraft technical details beyond official release. The current loadouts are pretty much as in reality, modding loadouts can be seen as cheating and might result in being kicked or banned when you bork the mission. I guess freedom of choice comes with responsebility.

Cool thread!! Keep it up RAZBAM!! I guess provoking a reaction within guidelines is needed other dudes... What can work is saying you'll play DCS multiplayer n*k*d for the rest of your life or pretend you'll only buy Bellsimtec's modules. (wait for it.....)
  3. No buddy, only Mr. Wags and President Putin have the secret ultracoded megalist interface i'm afraid.
  4. Do the evil tankers switch to port 10309 when 10308 is set?? Jobe must be in DCS..
  5. When you throw the errorcode 0x40000015 in Google you'll find allot of entry's directly going to microsoft software. There doesn't have to be a direct answer to see which direction this is going. Reasonable answers end up around OS-file or driver-file corruption or a messed up registery by doing god knows what or a virusrecovery if not even currently infected. First to try is reinstall C++ 2010 that you can find in the dist folder in the DCS game folder and perhaps use the DCS repair tool. When the above fails... Run a diskcheck and if that fails... Dont trust your current antivirusscanner too much and scan your machine first with a free standalone scanner from a USB stick. Comodo cleaning essentials works in this case on-the-fly. No need to install or de-install anything at this point. When the scan is finished it will ask to let the machine to reboot to scan the hidden systemparts. http://www.comodo.com/business-security/network-protection/cleaning_essentials.php?key5sk1=9ee16d87044905507dd53dd09c28fecf16ad5b15&key5sk2=&key5sk3=1361320319000&key5sk22=2230&key5sk23=1356796043000&key5sk24=&key5sk25=1361320340000&key6sk1=&key6sk2=IE90&key6sk3=7&key6sk4=en-us&key6sk5=NL&key6sk6=1&key6sk7=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.comodo.com%2Fbusiness-security%2Fnetwork-protection%2Fcleaning_essentials.php&key6sk8=115502&key6sk9=19201080&key6sk10=true&key6sk11=a026f5d1d178d2cb254f3de8e7860132a05135e7&key6sk12=2034&key7sk1=111&key1sk1=dt&key1sk2=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.comodo.com%2Fbusiness-security%2Fnetwork-protection%2Fcleaning_essentials.php When the scan is clear and with no results you might want to look at your non-Microsoft drivers like chipset, soundcard, gfx-card, USB 3.0 and other hardware drivers for controlers. When the problem is still around it could still be corruption in the OS itself. Sometimes the problem is solved by a system restore, but that is the ugly way for granny's to fix their pre-installed Dell's. When i have errors like this and not solved with the above and even have to systemrestore it, it's basicly telling me that i realy want to fresh-install Windows. But lets hope it's just C++.
  6. Now lets hope that: Gossip(5xnews) = fact
  7. The UK price is double the US price within the same company... ooops You'd say that the most capitalistic country should have the highlest prices. Either that is the case or it's greed/clumsyness/discrimination/100% tax on videogames in the UK.
  8. Don't be too puzzled. Some things are known not working as intended and are said to be fixed in the next versionupdate.
  9. And that's why i'm currently not using the modified file. However, carry some extra weapons that saves a returntrip to base in a very long mission is worth something too when theres nobody that bothers. On multiplayer being exclusive has it's charms too when you have that extra fancy CBU/GBU in the middle or also AIM9's on the other side and someone notices.
  10. Just a namelist of the servers through an api is more likely what he means like BF has.
  11. I've rewritten A-10C's weaponloadout lua a long time ago to have some more loadouts to choose from in the comms menu, clean up the codeorder and insert unused pylons again. I found that alot of times the TGP view was more blocked by other weapons and elements from the aircraft itself. It doesn't look too bad, however looses function. The ECM in the middle looks oddly rediculous. When you like your looks as well as functionality, you're best off where stuff is now. PS. For the guy/girl that wrote the lua-file responsible for placement: he has a problem with order and counting, you're lucky the file works as it is or has been done on purpose to make modifying more difficult for dislects.
  12. What's a FW190? Edit: Right..i should have known, the plane that played a major part in flattening my country 75 years ago..
  13. The 80's where easy. Just blame it on the gremlins and all problems would go away...
  14. Did you try to open the mission in question in the missioneditor and save it in the latest DCS build already?
  15. So he DID blew the tranny afterall.....
  16. So a destroyed non-functional system also counts as 'not destroyed'?
  17. You forgot an option. Theres no truth to be told...
  18. So Inr, does this version work and at least solve something for u?
  19. Interesting, i never found it to be a perfect location too. With force it should pull the tail down violently.
  20. Wreck because of the game mechanics or does the the F15 needs a beafy carrierupgrade like better landinggear? Why make me go kinky on a tailhook that doesn't belong there? It just doesn't make sense to me if it's obsolete. Perhaps it's a model for a chinese fabricated toothpick dispenser.
  21. People can say weird things when money and politics is involved. All this wargear being very awesome, however exists to be not run over by the other. Sometimes i wonder and how it will end or will we all live happily ever after and shoot sodacans with lasers floating in the outer atmosphere/geostationary orbit. Theres going large budgets into special secret stealth planes, but most experts around the world don't realy expect large airial battles for at least a long time. Not under the current worlds relations. At the moment theres an informationwar going on on the internets by nations as well as groups and single people. Financial markets and governments are continuesly under attack and even admit they're a bit overwhelmed. This costs nations all over the world more than the development of the best plane ever. Your 11 year old neighbour is potentialy your largest enemy now, not the F22 or the Tsar Bomba. The fun starts when this 11 year old opens up dams and darkens airports, purges financial databases. Enjoy the next 15 years in which freedom of information will be under attack. That Mr. Flanker salesman would most likely be better off changing his interest and his billions in firewalldevelopment and a group of bearded oldschool hackers. But as usual they figure that out too late.
  22. Show em the bone.... But don't let em have it!!
  23. Then it must be the F15-C tailhook...
  24. LOOOOOOOL But yeah, seems somewhat weird too. Go to the office in the morning, step into the simroom, fly around and what not in afghanistan for 8 hours and be home for diner again... Sounds very boring.
