That’s the issue. It starts getting expensive trying out one or two from various places once you add on shipping. Maybe I’ll buy these now as I know they will fit and experiment later. I might go down the display route at some point, which will mean a custom PCB, so I could switch to tactile PBs at that point. Thanks guys :thumbup:

Yes. As Brun says, it was reported that they weren’t that great. Happy to use them if there’s no alternative, otherwise I’d like to get something better. Sadly the NKK ones are EOL according to their European distributor and there isn’t a like for like replacement. Nobody has stock now it seems.

Massive kudos to Brun for the design of the UFC. Great thread too, really enjoyed reading through it and planning my build. Has anyone found a good alternative to the square 12mm pushbuttons that are in stock? Struggling to find an alternative. Cheers :thumbup:

It's no better in the latest version. Most of the lights/MFDs in the F-18 are brighter than the sun. The Jeff is the same, plus others. A-10C included.

Well, I’ve tried everything to get past mission 2 in this campaign. Even if you CCIP the GBU16s onto the bridge, it claims that the bridge has been destroyed yet the mission fails. :dunno: I’d be interested to know how the others got passed mission 2. Either the campaign needs a serious rework, or a later DCS update broke it. Or both. It’s a shame as there are very few campaigns for the Jeff and this one had some promise.

Same issue here, no TGP on mission #2. Even when using Mk84s to flatten the bridge yields a failed mission. Looks like the mission #2 bug is still there?

Hi all, I’m desperately looking for a 3rd TM Cougar MFD for my sim pit. If any of you F-18 pit builders have a spare MFD kicking about that you want to part with then please get in touch. Seems daft shelling out for another two when I only need one. Cheers!

I reckon my issues are more TrackIR related more than anything. If I disable TIR then I do not get the major stutters that I've been experiencing, just the odd minor micro stutter here and there. I can handle those. Question is, how to fix it? There are a tonne of TIR related threads kicking about on the interweb with no resolution :(

Interesting. I have similar rig to you, specs wise. I’m getting bad stuttering with the F/A-18C in the PG map as well.

Is anyone having issues with performance in the Persian Gulf map? I get horrible stuttering and frame rate drops that make the plane ptretty much unflyable. All other a/c seem to be ok. Tried clearing out shaders and changing settings but to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated :thumbup:
