I'm about to process the time.

I'll give a try, thank you for the advise and the work onbthe server :)

I run 1600*900. I have less trouble finding people visually than with a mig-29 radar. Identifying isn't a trouble, at 10km you already can tell from the color who is P51 and who is BF109 :P And if it's moddable it's even worse, anyone can cheat then. Edit : Check attachment. Just to give you an idea how bad it can be at some point. In combat, it can be very troublesome because you see planes you can estimate at 2-4km in fact they are 20km.

You don't calculate your ammo cost, however, they is a budgetting notion. In Desert Storm, they had ammunition allocated for the conflict. You have to deal with it. source : DOD report on DS1.

use the import/export lua option. It links directly to cockpit controls. Several solutions already exists, such SIOC, Helios.... I guess it would come down to create a database of position for everybutton. Button position may be found by checking the 3D models. You probably better leave the mouse :P Helios has two way in : Either it gets in with export/import script, either direct keyboard emulation. To get a glance at how a cockpit script works, go into your DCS/mods/aircraft/any DCS plane/cockpit/script and study those scripts.

Go go either full virtual of full real. You just can't merge real panels with VR.

@Silverdragon. I was just highlighting that others had troubles before being were they are. We all know where they are now.

EVeryone had serious problems. You can't just use others devellopers as exemple, because all 3rd party were involved in serious and long troubles. VEAO had problem with texture and coder, took them a while to recover RAZBAM weren't even able to complete their first project Beczeeerrr I mean Leatherneck had an internal crisis and nearly cancelled the project after 2 years of delay. WW2 project was cancelled and later taken over by ED Belsimtek first releases weren't far from being complete. I'm not sure they even implemented yet the engine management in UH1. IRIS bailed out Kinley Interactive didn't even launched Everyone has serious problem. Except OctopusG. (for now). Most have recovered. It may just happen to aviodev as well.

We flew yesterday on the server with my wingman. We were shocked by the enlarged blobs model. That was like they were B-17 dogfighting all over the sky, from 20km they were the size of a warship. It is actually very hard to figure out the range people are, since their plane are showing as large as if they were 3-4km, but they are 20-30 :D why just don't use labels ?

Moving tanks are easy targets for a static tank. :)

Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 5
Darkwolf replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
Hmmmm small campaign doesn't really suits well the blueflag atmosphere. I'll repeat what i proposed on the official forum : Let just do like 4-5 weeks of combat, with everyweek we go into the next generation of planes. So that'll start with WW2 and finish with modern stuff. Everyone will get happy. -
Great job, will be usefull for rookies and even confirmed pilots :)

Yup - How about making a korean/vietnam one first, then have the WW2 when ED shows up with the Spitfire ? -
my landing protocol is quite easy : 1/ Gear In 2/ Engine Off 3/ Land. 4/ Have tech repairing the propeller and put it back on wheel.

"SPECIAL" Options for Mi-8 ...
Darkwolf replied to sleepycanuck's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
We need "DCS: Cookies" now. -
They is a key to filter messages. I don't recall which one, tho. Check in your plane commands, radio menu

+1 here. AMD phenom + R9 270. Will attach log tommorow. Mission was just a bunch of static planes for screens.

Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 5
Darkwolf replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
Yup, the capture was definitively messed up. I spend 20min in chase cam for screenshots at this airport, it would definitively felt if it wasn't the appareance of the black cloud (unsure that was a nuke, it covers 30km on a screen). The eastern area is really hard. Blue have 3 airfields clustered with towns in a 10km radius, that make a HUGE block to tackle, while red have 3 airfields scattered 50km appart, which means 20km refuel, holes in SAM network... -

Without this inbalance, we would have played the Sochi-Gelenzhik area for 4 weeks and everybody would get bored and leave. ;) They are already plenty of static mission on other servers for this. -

40 against 11 this late morning. 3:1 yesterday. That's fine, that actually happened a lot in the other side during most of the campaign. You are not complaining about outnumbering, you are complaing about which side outnumbered the other :D EDIT : Can screenshot can crash the server ?? -

You talking about =BK=Dementia ? He started insulting everyone today for an hour when dozen of helis were waiting around Tbilisi. Fact is, they were still air defense but he was apparently too drunk to really understand the game. I'm not afraid of names. :P Regarding the black fog, i'm unsure of the nuke. See attachment, the thing expand for way way too large. edit : can't reupload, it's attached here http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2695437&postcount=787 -

that was a nuke, that black thing ? That was actually what allowed Blue to keep PAK6. Without that black shit, helicopter wouldn't have been able to get away from airfield and spam SAM around Tbilisi. ;) Redforces couldn't kill starting planes after that. -
