That is quite speculative, it could also just be caused by a need of money to keep the ship floating :) That pretty much happened and is likely to be a reason of the bundled sales. A year ago, they were discounting up to 70% on modules, and they were sales on a very regular basis. Everyone was waiting for sales. Then they said they would stop that and started "bundled" sales. Bundling may be an attempt to limit these sales, while allowing new player to startup a module collection at a decent price. that's just what i figured out, not something they communicated.

Hi There, With the new function "ground start" for heli, any chance to get more helicopters on Farps ? We aren't connecting anymore because squadron level heli-ops is tough when you only have a single Mi8 available - and obviously mig21 is broken so we can't fly that one either.......

Well.... You better wait a bit. Belsimtek's F-86 is way more stable than Leatherneck's Mig-21. Doesn't even compare, quality wise. Our Mig-21 dedicated squadron fly everything but Mig21 nowaday. :/

From what my squadron mate are reporting, you need to load the pod or nuke in the base before flying. If the plane is already equipped with the nuke or SPS in the mission file, it will not show up correctly. This is a recent bug. Eventually, when you are on the ground, load it again and it should show.

That's strange, Mig29 used to be the worst of the 3 with a very bad turn rate. AFM introduction must have changed balance.

ED don't even need to do the research. A little option to select unit availability and save it under the form of presets would be even easier to implement - then with such a talented community, lot of generation/country presets would quickly get available.

You can't detect heli. However, if you know where one is, you can lock it by keeping lock button pressed. IR missile can lock as well. You really need to know where your target it tho. Canon is just ok finally.

I'm interrested, but very warm weather makes my CPU safety trigger and shutdown when i start DCS.

I wonder how things will evolve. I don't think the AI flight & damage model is a ED thing, they are most likely limited by current CPU performance. I don't think they would have difficulty to port current DM to AI, but in the other hand, the average joe's computer will just melt.

Seems you are on the same line, just chill and open a beer. :D Unless LN get enough crowfunding to pay a dozen of Mig21 to crash, everything outside the critical limit of the flight envellope will stay guesswork. It's obviously not perfect... but hell, that's still better than most other simulator, including MarketiXplane. And i'm actually not LN best fan.

Not using F10 map is what makes Huey and Mi-8 flights interresting :) Obviously, it may require some training, and everyone has trouble with it the first time :) But honestly, you should try. It makes long flight not boring at all ! Just remove PGMs and TGP from airfields, and it become nearly a regular A10A. ;)

How about just going the old fashion way and taking measurement of the cockpit ? Taking decent pictures and pertinent measurement should help figuring this thing. That's how most cockpit builders are doing rare airframes.

The lack of decent civilian flight sim today is driving all those debates. FSX is ugly. XP is a joke. But well. . . They is a few closed mind people that will just be mad if this happens, because they are selfish and wants only combat module. Fact is : Civilian aviation already exist in DCS, in the form of airshows, air races and civilian helis.

The reason is simple. They have already been a donation campaign a couple of weeks ago. That campaign was about a texture mod, which was completed at the time the guy asked for money. It racked above 3000$ for something already finished. It's already nice that some gave money in the beginning of your project. They've been already a lot of issue with investment. F35 kickstarter failed. WW2 one succeded but then project crashed midflight (hopefully salvaged by ED). Several 3rd party have trouble finishing their current projects. It is not surprising everyone is cold about giving money ahead :music_whistling: While this plane is the one that i'm the most interrested in, I would recommend to seriously review your motivation. This project will seriously take your time. It will likely sell correctly, as it'll be the very first "heavy". Even people with minor interrest in heavy will likely get it, out of curiosity. You can also value the project in "experience/showcase" for your future. Even if it doesn't sell well, this may also be a showcase of what you can achieve. This may impact positively other project, even non flightsim related. But.... People will likely not pay ahead of the project. Getting 3 AFB packed within 3km has surely nothing to do with tbilisi being a fortress :P

Capturing the Sukhumi/Gauduta airfields is a 1h ride thru the mountain for the red as well. While blue has no EOS, we fly at their radar level so.... :D Also, heli route are known. Catching blue helis inbound for Beslan, you don't even need anything. They is one valley where you can find them easily. Changing FARP location may help renew the experience a bit.

1/ Statistically, they'll be trolls and newb in both teams :D 2/ That will force regular player to stay helpful with beginners ;)
