Did you check the enable FF option in DCS World?

Cool, I was hoping I would be spending time on FC3, but this will tide me over. DLing now.

You dont ask a girlfriend to buy you something. You tell them. This way you can test the waters and see if she is worth it. You do have to ask a wife though. Because these seem to hang around even if they are mad, just to make sure you know they are. Or so how my life went :smilewink:

I saw that today...I am alsmot going to hit the buy button, but the review of it on simhq put me in the undecided area. Looks like fun, but not real sim-like. More like Arma aircraft and less like DCS. But the Hind looks kinda neat. Tell us how it is Slap Chop. Its in my wish list for now, and I got 19hours + to decide :)

I had this as well, but fixed it. OF course everyones machine is different. Nvidia Control Panel, went from x4(supersample) to (multisample) and shimmering went away.

I am using the regular Saitek Pro Pedals (the un-metal one), and have had no issues. I quite like them.

1. Download and install DCS World http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?ProductId=21&end_pos=137&scr=product&lang=en 2. DL and install Black Shark2 if you have it http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=12&end_pos=136&lang=en 3. If you dont have Black Shark 2 and only have BS1, buy the upgrade, then DL and install http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=13&end_pos=136&lang=en (Note you need BS1 installed to use the BS2 upgrade. Once it is installed and active in DCS World, you may delete BS1). Hope that helps.

I still had a pile of the old CD's from SS, and then found Silent Storm Gold on gog.com for 10 bucks! Could not resist. Now if I could find some time to play it again....

I miss Silent Storm, and its exp packs. Never played the original either, but XCom EU is looking really good. Will be a first day purchase for me.

Sadly, Sept. 30th is still September :(. Do you think it will be stretched out that long? I have never played FC, but recently bought LOMAC and installed it to be ready for FC3. Only thing is, I think I am looking forward to the new World update (stable online please), more than flying the F15. Is that wrong?

Been using Steam for years with no Steam related issues. Even the minor annoyances with Steam game patches being behind seem to have been taken care of. Picking up the Total War Collection for 12 bucks is always nice as well. Marocs, It seems you are the minority with issues.

Another note to the awesomeness of this mod.... Usually in night or evening missions turning on the guage lights made them hard to read (for me at least). With this mod, not only does it look like real guage lights, but you can actually read them. Loving it. Also, will sorc's green shkval work with this? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=81600

I got it working with World 1.2 and BS2 1.1.1.1. .

I believe he is also working on those, as well as the blue one, and a mix. (Correct me if I am wrong) But this one was ready first, and lots of people were wanting it ASAP. So the others should be on the way.

Thanks, much apprciated. I assume there is a SU-25 folder in there, so I dont have the A10, and BS back to defualts as well?

I was trying to set up flight controls and trackIR view controls for the Su-25 and managed to screw it up. I was not aware the Su-25 didnt have 6dof and changed some settings. Now I cannot look up. I tried to set them to default, but no luck. I cant find the post about deleting which folder in the saved games/DCS area. Cant anyone help me get defualt controls/views for this plane back?

Yes, I believe I do. I have everything on high except water. I am surprised that ED has not taken this and made it standard on the KA-50. Seriously.
