Are U saying there's lack on interest from end users with FC2? R U sure?

Allright, I just had to reformat my C:\ and reinstall OS. Dunno what exactly happened with it but I had no access to any of the programs or files installed or stored on my HDDs. I reinstalled with same OS version I had before. So, since FC2 installation folder isn't on system drive of C:\ and is still available to me with all included mods and edits I wonder is there any chance to reinstall FC2 using the same activation key as the last time? Reason I ask is that I'm on my last key of a boxed FC2. Thanks!

It's a settings related issue, not FC2... For start, can you see the desktop whrn you plug your TV to your PC?! Anything? Have you identified both TV and monitor displays? Which one is primary (1)? Are you using extended desktop or two separate displays?

I'm looking forward to it too! In fact, I was slightly disappointed with Jim Mack and the rest of the guys turning to Mustang without picking the bird from his own cage.

I believe it's possible to enlarge the footprint of certain weapons (bombs and AG missiles), I knew how to do it with FC by editing MEInit.xml. Bigger the footprint bigger was the blast graphic and this is how this shot was made. However, this only adds to weapon destrucion so it renders useless more ground units and static objects. It does not create an EMP not it destroys vegetation. On top of that the blast resolution turns more grainy as it simply magnifies...

It can. Aircraft, especially carrier birds often launch with Max weapn payload but with fuel qty reduced in order to stay within MTOW. More weapons = less fuel. They fill both internal and external tanks later on by hooking to a tanker... Read A-10 over Kosovo, aircraft fully loaded with weapons but not fully loaded with fuel would head for tanker straight after takeoff to fill up their tanks.

You're both talking numbers and this is leading you astray. Besides you said it above but didn't basically understand what you said. Rather think about stress on a MLG and airframe. There are some Gs active when you touch the runway so MLW of 50.6klbs can easily turn to 100k lbs with 2G stress. Yet thankfully not too many MLG failures or airframe writeoffs. So forces acting upon aircraft in MLW usually max MTOW as you can see from the equasion.

No, you got it wrong! If an aircraft weighting 25 tons can takeoff it can land as well...Airframe structure and landing gear is designed to withstand Max TO weight landings...

Yes definitely. I remember the fc / fc2 transiotion, within few weeks noone flew FC in MP...so I guess in order to enjoy MP you'll be kinda foreced to buy it. I see no other reasons not to buy FC2... I've got all ED products (LOMAC, FC1, FC2, BS, WH, BS2) although I don't get too many sticktimes with BS, BS2 and WH. But they're there just for the sake of it and I can fidle with it anytime I want!

Yeah, I know...DCS pilot model is shared so both A-10/Ka-50 are the same guy when they eject. Same was with FC2, FC, LOMAC etc...
