  1. Happy BDay...
  2. Preparation and control of PPK- 23K provides : - Manual entry of data into CWM pre-flight and imaging input; - The inclusion of various types of complex control and panels ; - Selection of the characteristics of ballistic bombs and unguided rockets nomenclature / switch " TИПЫ " / . The controls (buttons and switches) located on the PPK- 23K panel have the following purpose: BUTTONS - " 0, 1, ... , 9, +, - " buttons " ИCПOЛH . ", " CБPOC " digital indicator - for the input and display parameters and observing the results of various types of complex control ; Switch " OTKЛ.ПУ - K.ЦBM - K.ПУ - BBOД - ИHДИK . - K1 - K2 - K3 - K4 - PAБOTA " : - In the " OTKЛ.ПУ " - 23K PPK and PPK panels a transfer of control to automatically enter data into CWM ; - In the " K.ЦBM " - CWM control by computing test internal controls; - In the " K.ПУ " - control of panels PSR -54 , PN- 23K -1 and PPK- 23K ; - In the " BBOД " - manual entry of data into CWM ; - In the " ИHДИK . " - Imaging input; - In the " K1" - internal control systems ; - In the " K2" - a complex PrNK -54 is not used ; - In the " K3 " - check the control tasks ; - In the " K4" - test connection - In the " PAБOTA " - enable (or start) complex tasks on the exercise of targeting or navigation ; Switch " CЛ.PEЖ . " - by selectiong the type of weapon used, CWM NDP adjusts scope of combat (targetting pipper in the HUD), for use with unguided rockets, namely: - " OTKЛ." - Starting position switch, manual input of parameters; - " C0" - corresponds to the ballistics of a UR S- 24; - " C1" - corresponds to the ballistics of a UR S- 5KO . KPB - S , S -5 - 0 , S- 5P ; - " C2" - corresponds to the ballistics of a UR S- 5M ; - " C3" - in the complex PrNK - 54 is not used ; - " C4" - corresponds to the ballistics of a UR S- 25; - "C5" - corresponds ballistics of a UR S- 5K , S- 5K1 ; - " C6" - corresponds to the ballistics UR S- 8 Switch - " TИПЫ " - a simplified variant of inputting unguided bomb ballistics typical of positions: - " OTKЛ . 3. I see no such examples but even if there are some I see no trouble there, if you feel your IP and time spent in research and development should be rewarded you must set a price ... noone lives off reputation. Are we OK with that?
  4. I already watched your video flying from Brnik, All I can say is congrats! I hope you'll cover most your G-2 fleet expenses by doing something like this.
  5. Same story as in the past: F-15 / Su-27 F-16 / MiG-29 F-22 / T-50 F-35 / T-xx etc...
  6. Did UK get it's batch or those 3 are still in Florida?
  7. Was it a missile or AAA?
  8. ^^ Which is strange 'cause Su-25T thanks to it's AFM is more difficult to land than F-15C (SFM)...
  9. You can make your own missions with ME (mission editor). Place a single F-15C in the map but over some of the displayed airfields. Assign first waypoint as TAKEOFF. You can select RAMP start or runway start to avoid startup and taxi. NOw, I advise selection less than 50% of fuel in F-15C payload editor if you plan to practice racetrack touch and go.
  10. I see what you mean and there's this thing that really gives my nerves a go when I look at the ACMI tracks. F For instance, You jam around and the enemy takes a Fox 1 shot, missile gets closer and it' doesn't burn thru like it should but remains in pure intercept throughout it's entire flight... I mean, it's onboard radar is weaker that the platform's, however at the distance of 2-3 nm average AIM-120C should go lead on you with current FC ECM logic. IRL it should be in lead since it leaves the rail...
  11. What do you mean? I just said how it performs ATM with FC, not in reality...
  12. ECM only serves it's purpose at distances up to 20km. Once the tracking platform gets closer it will burn thru...
  13. ^^^^ you can't achieve what was shown in that video unless you disengage ECM. The point of entire tutorial is to make sure that incoming missile is in lead intercept. ECM keeps the incoming misslile in pure pursuit, pointed directly at you...
  14. No, but if Wags said it's unrealistic to squeeze F-15C AFM into 1.2.7 than 1.2.8. is my logic.
  15. You just killed 15.000 civilians...
  16. Yeah, it can get you confused in no time. There's FC and there's DCS level of systems complexity. DCS has only few available study platforms (Ka-50, A-10C and P-51) none of which are BVR or dogfighters. So in order to have someone attacking and protecting those DCS:A-10C and DCS:Ka-50 pilots in the MP map ED had to bring FC and DCS a bit closer to eachother. So they made DCS:World that's free. It's a good way of getting into it as DCS-W can be used to see if you can at least run any of the payware stuff on your rig. It's a pretty much shareware thing with flyable Su-25T. Now with DCS-W, FC3 users flying airdominance fighters (MiGs, Suhois, 15C) could play along DCS:A-10C and DCS:Ka-50 players. The only difference is that FC3 users don't spend so much time toggling switches as DCS:A-10C users do. Players who have DCS-World installed can buy single modules of featured FC3 aircraft such as so far available Su-25: DCS-FC and A-10A: DCS-FC and soon to be F-15C:DCS-FC. This does not mean that F-15C:DCS-FC will have all of the features of DCS:A-10C like clickable cockpit, complex engine startup etc. It will only get similar FM (of a same level of complexity). I believe this was a move ED had to come up with as a full blown DCS:F-15C is quite impossible due to classified avionic systems data. As you can see unclassified aircraft data available today are P-51D, Fw-190, Cessna 172 etc. C'mon, we want something from at least 1981...So simplyfied avionics / complex FM combo is the only way for ED to launch at least 2 DCS-FC modules a year. With each new X-XX:DCS-FC module standalone FC3 users can patch up to a same AFM level.
  17. Well how bout F-15C AFM patch at the same time as DCS:F-15C module. Why waiting for the 1.2.8 general patch?
  18. Wags also said it probably won't make it into 1.2.7 but 1.2.8 Does this mean that simple update of your FC3 install to 1.2.8 would rewrite current Eagle's FM?
  19. On the other hand, as you cannot switch IAS/TAS/GS in FC all those "fly for XX" are just ear candy...
  20. That's what I was saying. -10° is blackened by the nosecone. There's a OLS-27 / OLS-29 difference IRL but I'm not sure if there's any in FC.
  21. I was talking FC where Ivan works with km only...
  22. Actually... Cone tip and probe by being leading egde of the fuselage get very hot so usually radiate heat and interefere (clutter) the sensor. Close to it's negative gimabals EOS is very buggy. Perhaps that's the reason for this FC3 limitation... On the other hand Russian jets get a lot of limitations lately that really degrade them to their 1982 modus operandi instead of upgrading whole lot of it on our way to DCS:Su-27SM or DCS:MiG-35... From LOMAC 1.02 to FC3 the only upgrade is a functional gun pipper...
  23. OK, thanks for sharing but there's few questions... I mean you've spent a lot of time to have it properly displayed in armament screen and there's a nice 3D model of it but it's functionality remains the same so what's the point? It's like replacing a R-27R 3D model with a RVV-BD 3D model, however it won't change it's range...
