  1. I am not sure if there is a work around, but I think it's a known issue. I have the same problem and have read that others do too....
  2. Lots of people are having problems with Vista and nVidia drivers, and also with Creative products.
  3. That's some nice work. It would be awesome if you could somehow give the command to Lock On to eject after pulling the eject handle on the seat....
  4. Just out of curiosity: are you using the Cougar software to map the rotary to MFD zoom, or did you do this in the Lock On control edits? Maybe check if the mapping within Lock On options has somehow changed? Stranger things have happened on a PC :) Have you checked the input curve for the throttle within Lock On? If somehow any 'Shift' has been added, then pushing the throttle handle to full isnt giving full throttle in-game...
  5. That's interesting. Will have to check it out! Thanks for pointing it out!
  6. There are other sites besides the lock on forums?
  7. AC-130H Spectre - not sure if they are in the game already. Would be fun to see one circling around and pounding some buildings...
  8. It's almost like having a Subway in your PC!:D Maybe less tasty...
  9. I had a problem when installing Flaming Cliffs. My problem was different though, in that clicking Install when the autoplay screen pops up would result in no response. This fixed my problem and might help you: Copy the Install file from the Flaming Cliffs CD (disc 2) to your desktop. Run the file from there. It will install as normal. Then for some reason when running the game, the Flaming Cliffs CD would be read as normal when attempting to appease Starforce. Good luck!
  10. Im offering my services to help 'direct' the scenes (IE, play the game) :)
  11. /\/\/\ I'd like to remove my request and +1 to this idea :megalol:
  12. I'm not sure if this would be a realistic situation, but just as an 'action' bit I think the Ka-50 chasing down an Apache would be suh-weet :) Looking forward to seeing another movie!
  13. I hope you mean that NOTHING will delay it :D May would be nice, thank you for sharing!
  14. I'm a Perth boy! But have been living in London for the last few years. Hoping to return to 'Shtraarlia next year. Looking forward to Hyperlobbying it with some aussies! :)
  15. and we're posting backwards? lol!
  16. Damn straight. The lulls at work were starting to get really boring! :)
  17. I would have to recommend the Core 2 Duo lot as well. I just think it's better value for your buck. Also, you'll be stuck with DDR if using an FX-57. Anyhoo, check out the CPU chart on Toms Hardware guide. You can choose two processors and a benchmarking method, and it will give you a graph of the performance with comparisons to other CPUs http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/cpu/charts.html By the way, games and such may not utilise both cores at the moment, but setting the affinity of all your background programs (firewall, etc), and then setting the affinity of the game to the other core (im currently using procaff to do this with Lock On), apparently is supposed to see an increase in the performance of the game. Apparently..... :)
  18. I didn't know, so it's lucky I was drunk anyways :) Happy orthodox new year!
  19. Try setting your water graphics setting to medium, assuming that you have on high. I read some where that is a known bug. I was having the same problem, this fixed it for me.
  20. No problems. I was having the same problem until I saw another recent post that fixed it for me.
  21. What do you have your Water graphics setting on? If you have set it on High, try medium or low...
  22. True, but both are less important than release date :D
  23. I think that movie is Hot Shots?
  24. According to http://www.play.com it's being released at towards the end of February, but I can't find a website for the game or any other info besides those few screenshots.
