  3. I've tried different settings, views, aircraft and even hardware configs. I've been flying DCS for some years. However, there is no doubt to me anymore, the F16 cockpitview drops the FPS by 60-80% after last patch. Both for MT and ST. I have to go back to patch 2.5.x.x to experience the same. Anyone else having the same experience. I've searched the internet, it looks to been discussed on facebook groups and reddit. ED aware of this?
  4. Most of the time I am flying the A10IIC and the F16. I've tested some different grphx settings, however it seems to be a 1:3 FPS difference between the F16 and A10, favor A10. E.g.: 3070Ti rig, tested in same scenario, MP rather heavy on the unit side. Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz. 64.0GB: F16 FPS 5-10 (horrible) A10 FPS 35-40 (smooth) 4080Ti rig, tested in same scenario, MP rather heavy on the unit side. Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz. 64.0GB:: F16 FPS 35-40 (smooth) A10 FPS 90-100 (insane smooth/eyecandy level) Anyone else experiencing same? The F16 is more or less unflyable at the moment on 3070ti rig. Any clues on what I might change on software side?
  5. This seems to be the error after several test. I was not aware of the fact that the CBU105s are re-aligning automatically. If I power them up to early, they will automatically do another A10 to RDY after some time. Anyone know how long time and for what reason the CBU105s do this? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Moonshine. Seems like you are correct. After a numerous tries with the AGM154A I got to the same conclusion.   6. Thanks for informative testresults. I will do some similar runs on other targets and report back. In the meantime about CBU105: Ive done this at least 100 times and I cant seem to figure out what I am doing wrong: 1. Load up with 3xCBU105s 2. Master arm on 3. VIS Mode. 4. HUD SOI 5. 20K' 5-7nm from target, nose down about 30 degrees (until I get target area in HUD) 6. Lock on to target (TMS up) with HUD. 7. Pickle (got about 1G), but no release... ------------------------------------- 8.Going around 9.Same procedure as above, and then bombs releases.... Am I doing something wrong. Been playing MP with others and discussed this, randomly someone else gets the problem, but I get it every time. Problem also occurs with CBU97s sometimes. Any thoughts?
  7. Just curious on what experience other F16 drivers in DCS have on: AGM154: Hardly makes any damage to fairly soft targets like SAM launchers, trucks, APC. No damage on soldiers... CBU105: I've never been able to get release in VIS mode on first target run. I always have to go around and make a second run, then I am able to release the CBU105s perfectly. Makes no sense to me...

  12. No need to shut down engine. Check if the airbase (select it on the F10 map) actually holds the resources you are asking for.
  13. Thanks Frederf, however I tried on a Through the Inferno mission today, and NAV1 (deselect) doesnt work either. However, that could be related to the missionfile specifics.
  14. Thanks for answer. I will give it some more in-depth testing and see what I can figure out. I kind of struggling to understand how displayed information are categorized into either "NAV 1-3" or "LINE 1-4".
  15. Sometimes I have like 40-50 wpt incl lines loaded into the HSD. Adding SAM rings, datalink and rangerings the HSD/HAD can sometimes become very cluttering. So I tried to de-select some of the "LINE"-information, however it doesn't seem to work, or am I doing something wrong? How can I deselect information displayed. (Maybe the functionality is not implemented yet?). (Snapshot is from chucks guide) null I've tried to figure it out from chucks guide, however I had no luck.
  16. Well, kind off... Both MFDs seems to be more washed out than a couple of months ago, however I have no problem reading them. I have to put brightness to max during daytime flying, adjusting contrast doesn't help. Could HDR-screen causing this issue?

  18. Great mission for both single and multi, great fun. Thanks for sharing. I do however seem to have an issue: - The AI A10s (Hawg 5,6,7,8) seems to have a mind of their own. When scrambled they are heading over to the western SA10 site, approx 20nm from SA10 site they crash into a mountain - regardless of task they were given. Hawg 7 and 8 sometimes fly without weapons. -Otherwise the mission is running rather smooth. I've only flown it with DCS 2.7.14.23966 Open Beta, dated 18 may 2022.
  19. If you need to do a quick turnaround in the F16: 1. Drop externals 2. DO NOT ask for refuel, just ask for rearm including fueltanks. 3. "Rearm complete" 4. Take off, drop external tanks...and magically the fuel is in internal tanks.
  20. I've had the same issue many times as reported here. Been on both private servers and 4YA servers. It works to just change hardpoint wtih msl step.
  21. Thanks for replies, I will try those 'fixes' in conjunction with some others. @Mustang if I may ask: since you are mentioning Anti-radar missiles, does that mean all ARM fired may cause weapons.dll, or does it also include firing AGM-65 (non anti-radar) from A-10?

  23. :helpsmilie:Hi, Im not pleased that my first post here is about technical issues with DCS World - which i believe is a great sim. I've been using EDs as a flightsimwiki for a long time, but now I am not able to find answers that can help me. My questions are: 1."Connection interrupted" / "Server ping out": Is there an solution to this problem? Ive got plenty of BB, and I've tested towards several servers. Now and then, about 10% of the time I get lucky and dont get the "connection interrupted" or "Server ping out". Really need help to this one. Or is an official issue that DCS / ED is working on? If yes, whats the predicted time for solution? 2.DCS stopped working: Often I also get this, both for MP and SP. Seems to be caused my several different .dll files (iaw Windows Eventviewer). I've tested most of the tips that can be found in these forums, but nothing seems to be stable in the end. Also bought myself a new computer more or less, since I thought that my old one was worn out. But still no luck... Thx.
