Cant't remember if the first time I tried was with the old hud. Anyway I modified some luas to remove the RWR symbol for the hud wich was bugged, later I will try the attack modes to check if are working properly.
Yes, I know what he means, but even when the skin is listed in the skin list for USA in the mission editor you can't choose it.. I mean, you can choose it, but in both preview window and ingame you get the default skin for USA.
Deferred shading allow the use of a lot more light sources so the quality of the illumination is a lot higher and more realistic. The problem with deferred shading is that is "incompatible" with the Antialising used on DCS and because it you get a big fps loss. Try it without the AA, or with another type of AA forced on the graphic card control panel.
Thanks a lot for that, hopefully we can get a high fidelity Harrier module when the early access phase ends.. and hopefully you and your team can sort the issues you are having and come back at full power with the EF2000 and others great planes.
I am trying with a mission with almost pitch black and upping the gamma equals to see without the NVG's .. will wait.. actually with the NVG's I see better than without them. Thanks for the advise anyway
I'm trying to do a night mission, but can't find how to adjust the NVG gain and in consequence I'm nearly blind.. Any help with this ?
Thanks in advance
This is something that I would like to see in all modules, but why instead that reflective texture you don't put a plastic caps over the mirrors for those who don't use them to gain fps ? It would look much better compared to the "fake" mirrors..
Right but if they are planning releases of the 1.5 for the next year is because the unification is not close.. Otherwise they simply skip these updates in order to launch 2.5 ASAP. I was expecting the big unification for this year.. :no_sad:
Thanks for the video mate, I haven't seen it before. I knew that my pic was from a F-15, but thought they should be similar..
Any idea if they are going to simulate this behavior with the Flir and NV projected that way into the hud ? Should be great for VR.. or even Track ir.. The color is the less important, there are mods that change colors in other modules so I don't care for now. I only need to know if actually is a placeholder on the Harrier and is going to simulate in the right way.
And another question related to the Navflir.. Is planned to adjust it to the reality and the actual one is a placeholder ? Or the plans are to leave like at is now ?
I mean, now is like a tgp image exported directed over the hud, totally rectangular, on black & white and with a high resolution image quality.. when it should look ( IMHO) more like this image.
There are two ways.. one marking the group as not controlled, and another putting a start command in the group behavior box ( I don't know the exact name as the language of my DCS is on Spanish )
Seems that the huds/gunsights glasses are being adjusted.. In previous patches the gunsight was a lot more darker and totally unusable.. now is like the glass of the F-18.. with a bluish tint.. and it obscure the sun, which is great.. Sure that in the future it improves.
The problem is that with a monitor the sun don't blind your eyes while in VR is very annoying. At this time the modules with working visors are useless, because the visor only tint the image, we need visors working like the real ones.
Thanks a lot Wags, with that my only main request is a fix with the contact visibility while using the Pixel Density slider.. maybe you can make an algorithm that increases the contacts size in relation with the value set on the PD slider..
