I really believed the words of Razbam stating that the Mig-19 was in development by another team, but the credits in the manual and the replys in this forum proved that was done for the same people that was supossed to be working in the unfinished modules. I buyed the 19 amd I'm enjoying it even with the bugs, but feel cheated by Razbam because the Harrier. Sadly I have no hope left for it.

Agree, the clouds in DCS are totally obsolete. I think that ED and their partners should put things like the weather system, ATC, performance and AI as top priorities.

Yes please, at least as an option. I hate to go across the canopy sometimes.

I also think that the textures are not at the same level of other modules, but some friends tell me that it looks stunning for them. Maybe is related to VR ? Need to try it with the monitor..

Tried the 60 hz option, and the 30 fps are perfectly fine, feels less smooth than the 90 hz, but for me, this 30 fps mode allow to mitigate the typical fps loss due the only one core usage at high density zones like cities. And in addition it allows to boost all the graphic options ( minus the shadows, which impact the cpu performance ) with insane amounts of pixel density and MSAA 2x activated. -

It's true that at first the visual improvement is not big, but that's because some weird relation with pixel density and the resolution rendered by DCS. After some weaks I am getting far better visuals with the Odyssey + and it seems to have more room for improvement through PD adjustment.. sadly my 1080 ti can't deal with it. The ASW is better than the rift one, with less distortion on the image,but it should be activated manually modifying a text file. -
Same here, Normandy runs very well after one of the latest patches.

In VR you see chips of water in the canopy, but not the drops.. The raindrop effects are incomplete in VR.

I still have the blurry vision. Running through Steam VR solves it but isn't as fluid like in the release.

Maybe that's the reason for not have it implemented at full yet for VR.. Wish somebody give an explanation about it . -

Yesterday give it a try and while I can't check the performance improvement ( ASW was active and locked at 45 fps ) I feel that was back in time to 1.5 version of DCS so for sure it would give a big performance improvement. Unfortunately I can't go back to these graphic quality levels, but congrats to the autor for his great job. -
Yes, there is an option in speech control panel : http://prntscr.com/k40r1f I'm spanish and my spoken english is rubbish.. but I'm running Vaicom perfectly, I'm surprised with the ease of Windows recognizing my words..

No, a pure client is the one that don't have mods affecting gameplay, like labels mod, missile performances, etc.. The mods that add buildings, units etc don't affect this.

I think is disabled on the campaign in order to force you to use the doppler, ark etc. -
Yesterday received my T-50 base purchased one week ago. Can't play much time yesterday, but I get the sensation that this base is a thousand times better than the Warthog one.. Is extremely precise without any extension compared with the WH with a 10 cm extension.. and the feeling of the springs going harder progressively is fantastic. I put the no center cams and the heavy springs and I'm enjoying it a lot. The replacement of the springs can be done in 3 minutes and for the cams you need to dismount all the base but is easy to do too. The only downside I can see is the need to build a custom mount to put on my cockpit but after checking the force that need to withstand I understand why the mount is tied directly to the mechanism. At first moment, I'm very happy with the buy.

Hope ED take this problem in account once and for all and scales the contacts regarding the resolution or the pixel density of VR.. It should not be that hard. I know they are working on the whole system and we are getting improvements, like reflections from sun or moonlight, but this problem is something apart. -
That's true if you let the pixel density at 1 as you say, by default you can spot contacts very well, even you can see the missiles. But when I put the pixel density at 1.5 everything changes and spotting contacts turns very hard. The same happens with the 4k monitors.. is a problem of the Sim, it should scale that pixel in relation with the resolution of the display. Regarding the ball, I have no problems seeing it.
