Be polite and analize the facts.

UIn the attachment you will find the two files responsible for the annoying, far too loud rumble wich are these: A10InHeAmbL.wav A10InHeAmbR.wav Found in \Sounds\Effects\Aircrafts\Engines. I just reduced the volume of these with a wave editor. I have also modified the turbine sounds of the A-10, wich are EngineTF34GE100Core.wav etc, but to no avail, the problem of that turbine sound INEXPLICABLY getting quieter with more throttle / speed remains, must be a sdef config file wich I am not able to edit. Agai, the sound of the A-10 has been good for literally YEARS now. ED why are you making it much worse now? No mention of this in the last changelog of the release version. In fact, it seems that the glorious a_10 has been abandoned completely. Engines.zip

But still, I dont understand why ED changed for the much worse the A-10 Sound wich was perfectly OK.

So you think that it is good that the whining of the turbines gets quieter the faster you go....

Updated the release version today. Still no way to select "ultra" in the settings. Can somebody explain me why there is a setting "ultra" in the shadows.lua configuration file, but it doses not appear in the settings ???

Updated today the release version. The A-10 sound is still very bad. The whining of the turbines gets quieter the faster you go, and then there is that rumbling noise. The sound of the A-10 has been good for literally YEARS now. ED why are you making it much worse now?

No idea how it got there. FACT is that I deleted it, and the problem was solved.

Save EVERYTHING IN: C:\Users\YOURNAME\Saved Games\DCS and then overwrite the one made by stable. Should work.

I have had this issue a while ago. Deleted a TF-51 campaign \DCS World\Mods\campaigns and everything went back to normal...

In this case, useless to post anything in this forum.....

Same here. Not going to buy it. More than enough to do with the F-18, A-10 (when it hopefully will have the old sound back) etc... And also because of that worn-out, almost damaged cockpit, for the sake of "realism".

Indeed... Same observations here. Wheel brakes seem very ineffective, even with full flaps, Stabilisator drag, full airbrake, AOA donut, 135 Knots.
