Hi, you can edit the file \DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Cockpit\Scripts\HUD\Indicator\HUD_definitions.lua" where it reads: old_K = 73.5 new_K = 55.0--44 I have 55 and this makes the letters and numbers in the HUD bigger and easier to read.

Wags, Thank you for the quick reply, and I suppose that those improvements will include the raindrops and the formation lights?

I have searched trough the forum, and probably this comments exist already... but I see that the WWII birds are getting a lot of love, which is fantastic, but what about the A-10? The formation lights and also other lights are not working properly, the rain droplets do not appear on the canopy, etc.... Is an overhaul for this magnificent bird planned to bring it to the 2.5 / deferred shading standards?

Hi, that's correct, you can't change the default startup view so I don't have to "zoom normal" every time I start up the game.. I have tried to do it unsuccessfully, maybe somebody reading this post knows how? But I have assigned a familiar command to "zoom normal" (num 0), so that's the first thing I do upon starting the mission. And by the way, you can save up to 9 additional views hitting "save cockpit angles".

Yes there is a way, enable SnapView save in the settings, assign a keyboard command to it, save the view as you like it, then assign a keyboard command to View: "zoom normal" and hit it.
