Indeed... That Marianas water reflection looks far better...

Well, I have tried many different settings, but I agree, something is not right with this new (2.7 stable) water reflections... And although it gets better and better increasing the wind at sea level, I never noticed something wrong prior to updating to 2.7, even with no wind...

I VERY MUCH doubt, well, indeed I am pretty sure that that Corsair for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 does not come even near to the upcoming DCS Corsair.... No weapons, no damage model, and don't get me started on the aerodynamics.....

I did not try with the wind, but I did try with active (given trough the ATC) runways, to no avail. And even then, why is Abu Dhabi international: none listed, none active. ?

Many ILS beacons are non-active or non-existent in the Persian Gulf map: Abu Dhabi: none listed, none active. ? Dubai International: 12 not active, 30 OK Sharjah: 12 not active, 30 OK Al Minhad: 09 not active, 27 OK Al Maktotum: 09 not active, 27 OK Why is this? Is not this map supposed to be “finished”? Tested this with both the A-10II and the F-16.

Yes, thank you. That panel did appear in the DDS texture of the old A-10 but DID not appear in the 3-D model. Deleted it and problem solved.

Sorry for my ignorance... What is SC? For the rest I agree, as already mentioned. With my rig, @ 4K I have 90 % of the time solid 60 FPS, in every situation and every map. excepting the Channel map, wich is OBVIOUSLY busted. I have been using my new GF 3080 for one week now, and happy with it, but not even with its brute force does the channel map perform smoothly.... I did not know about that issue of cockpit interior being lit by terrain reflection shining through the airplane structure from below.... But anyway, the P-47 cockpit is also too dark in when flying very high... On the other hand, when de sun shines directly on it it is absolutely gorgeous, one sees that it has been developped with the outmost care. A great model! A pity though about that dark cockpit at dawn, dusk, night and when the sun does not shine directly on it. Hope ED is watching this thread.......

You are right, here you have the screens in high-noon scenario, without cockpit lights. As you can clearly see, the cockpit of the P-47 is not only much darker, bur more importantly, the readability of the instruments is poor....

Very silly question indeed... then why are ALL the other warbirds cockpits ok, as I clearly have described in my first post?
