If you purchased from DCS World you should already have the latest version. If there is any doubt about having the latest versions you can always go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/EAGLE DYNAMICS/DCS WORLD and select Update DCS World.

Change the file extension for the mission from miz to zip and open the file, delete the options file, then change it back to miz and try again.

The F15 portion was awesome. There's one thing I am hoping for and that is the ability to place an airfield of some kind on the map. That would open the door to some cool mission creation possibilities.

Perhaps when you have time you could be more specific. I am curious to know what tgt:hasAttribute("Static AAA") means? Would that include all vehicles within a group that have machine guns?Also, if you add a vehicle does it have to be added in a very specific way and if so what would one refer to for that info?

Has anyone tried successfully to add other AAA threats to this script and if so can you share the method? I would like to see this work with tank machine guns or maybe BDRMs and/or BTR80s.

That would be great. I plan on adding human voice overs to add to all of the text messages if you don't mind. This is the kind of mission that small groups of hawg pilots are in need of so keep up the good work and thanks for your contribution.

I flew this mission today with one other A-10 pilot and from the beginning and throughout the first tasking the frame rates were very low with jumpy interruptions compared to all the other missions I have on file. We both have more than adequate PCs and have no frame rate issues with other MP missions. Would it be possible to cut this mission in half and offer it as part 1 and 2 reducing the number of objects on the map from over 800 to 400? Also I think dynamic weather will be a frame rate killer for many although I changed that to static weather before our test run.

It takes all kinds I suppose. Please disregard this thread as bogus.

If you go to your saved games/DCS/config folder just delete the VIEW folder and fly a mission all views will be restored to default. If you then want to modify the forward cockpit view just be sure to hit the F1 key first, then find view and hit RALT+NUM0. Also, if you go to DCS Options MISC tab, be sure that user snap view saving is checked.

After over 15 years experience with almost every flight sim available throughout I saw the A-10C and knew immediately that it was what I had been hoping for all that time. I entered the community in 2012 at a time when enthusiasm for multiplayer activity with the A-10C and KA-50 was high and there was a close bond among community members. As things evolved and a long list of modules were introduced the community became fragmented as expected and it seems that the A-10C segment has become a minority in the multiplayer community. Although I am sure the community has expanded and contracted over time, from my point of view the end result has been quite depressing. I am hoping that when DCS2 arrives there will be a revival of the hawg drivers but that remains to be seen.

Early on while climbing up the A-10C learning ladder I realized that I wanted a printed flight manual which I have and refer to often when needed. Although I consider the entire manual valuable I would have opted for this product instead considering that it sums up the most important subjects in an easy to understand presentation with links to some of the best video tutorials available as well. I consider this to be one of the most valuable contributions for new Hawg pilots that I have ever seen and I hope that it will be appreciated as such. Thanks for your efforts.:thumbup:

If your Track IR camera is more than 18 inches from your hat or pro clip you will have control problems. If that is the case try moving closer and you will see much less sensitivity to head movement.

I don't know. I created my own cockpit view that works better than the mod for me. If you start in default view with Track IR on you can find the view that you like, pause Track IR and save it using RHTALT+NUM0. Then unpause Track IR. Be sure to hit the F1 key before you make changes. Another thing to consider is that if your Track IR camera is more than 18 inches away from your hat or proclip you will have control problems regardless of settings.

Two things you might try are going into the Track IR software and reducing the speed slider. Another thing to try would be to create a deadzone for vertical movement in the Track IR software. That would allow up and down head movement with no response from Track IR until the edge of the deadzone is reached. I have dead zones set for both horizontal and vertical movement. I hope this makes sense.

Cool mission. It may get lost in this thread so how about putting it in the missions section. There are many of us old hawg drivers that would be thrilled to see more missions like this that don't necessarily take the many hours needed for your epic productions but would be equally enjoyable and provide something even more valuable.......something new on a regular basis. Can I get an amen? By the way, there are plenty of voice actors available and on standby if needed.

You may want to mention what aircraft you fly.

Go to Saved Games DCS folder and delete the VIEW folder. That will reset all to default. Always hit the F1 key before you make changes for the default cockpit view then try saving again.
