  1. So... with most MP server has some kind of wind, is this mean we can't even start up aircraft from cold? (can't remove inlet cover and ladder)
  2. It's funny that Wags said that they forcused on BIT systems very early stage of F/A-18, then it turned out most of BIT is just not functioning and even did not touched or updated throuh out loooong EA stage.
  3. I doubt it's even WIP.
  4. In DCS "Released but incomplete" means it will be almost forgotten and never finished. ED will allocate resouses into another EA module and that resouses won't come back to "Released" module again. A-10C and A-10C II are perfect examples.
  5. Both AGM-65L and APKWS should provide good stand off against AAA or even IR SAM. But currently AI is just flying stragiht to target while guideing missile and getting hit by AAA, or IR SAM. In this state there is no point to equip AI with 65L or APKWS, AI will die at first or second pass. AGM-65L.trkAPKWS.trk
  6. Ah, sorry I only checked first pages of bug sections. Couldn't thought such a bug didn't fixed for monthes.
  7. From my testing, Mk20 droped from AV-8B bursts around 1000 ft AGL, while from F/A-18 it bursts around 1500 ft AGL. Fuse setting makes no difference. Is there any reason to have such a different behaviour? CBU_AV8_OP.trkCBU_AV8_PR.trkCBU_FA18.trk
  8. Good update!! Both motors have the same total impulse now. The MK60 has a slight advantage during motor burn time, while the MK47 has an advantage in burn time. With increasing altitude the difference becomes smaller. typo?
  9. I wonder how to emphasize "improvement" of C6 or C7. Kinetic part like bigger motar is relatively easy I think. Heatbluer has already been struggling over years about AIM-54C improvement over A and still long way to go.
  10. SD-10 has very similar size and wight to AIM-7, so it's bigger and heavier than AIM-120. Actually, both have very similar warhead in DCS(39kg for AIM-7 and 40kg for SD-10 vs 18.7kg for AIM-120).
  11. F/A-18's MMC always creates and holds track files regardless of radar mode(RWS, TWS, STT). LTWS is just option enable to show track of Target Under Cursor(TUC), L&S. So theoricaly, AIM-120 can be guided regardless of radar mode because track always exist. The problem will be quolity of track files, I heared IRL launching AIM-120 in RWS(LTWS) or TWS MAN should switch to TWS AUTO to improve track quolity. And the reason that there is restriction on scan volume in TWS AUTO/MAN is all about quolity of track files.
  12. FIrst track : You fired AIM-120 in RWS with LTWS. RWS with LTWS is not meant to be used to guiding AIM-120. Use TWS AUTO or STT to support AIM-120. Second track : You fired AIM-120 in TWS MAN. TWS MAN means You have to adjust radar anntena manualy to maintain tracks. As track shows, radar droped tracks somewhat reasons so your AIM-120 were trashed. Again, use TWS AUTO or STT to support AIM-120.
  13. Thank you for detailed explanation. Another question is does AIM-7 family have same or similer capabirity? AIM-7F.trk
  14. I don't see anything like that. Can you post pic or video?
  15. I can confirn DL support works even after pittbull and indeed DL support helps AIM-120 to racapture target. But This topic is about AIM-120's vulnerability to notch, and that's why I droped lock in first track, to show raw missile performance .
  16. So despite closest ground is still over 10km away and no chaff, most advanced ARH missile in DCS is still very suspectable to notch. Good job on range gate or target extrapolation. Or I am completly misunderstanding about these. And why did ALL AIM-120 pulled up(turned away from last known target course) when losing track?
  17. As far as I know, to guide SARH AAM, launch aircraft's radar must use very specific wave form. And this specific wave form can be detected so RWR can alert SARH AAM launch. But in this track, first R-27ER tempolary trashed (launch aircraft went cold and lost STT lock), however once launch aircraft reestablished STT lock, R-27ER recaptured target despite launch aircraft didn't sending launch signal(before sending another R-27ER). 18. Not new... Added: HSD shows SPJ jam coverage (RWR symbols of being jammed objects will have an underline)

  20. Please explain clearly and in detail what is changed and what is expected behaviour whenever ready. Getting tired of realizing "fixed", "improved" things in change logs just became worse after brief and simple test.
  21. You boresighted wrong. Watch carefully video I posted. You must match rings AND IHADSS's crosshair too. BAD alignment GOOD alignment
  22. From cold start, you must perform IHADSS boresight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFv_ACD3fPE
  23. I already agreed that about friend RWR contact. But what exactly do you want? Do you want aircraft automatically pick up highest threat for you? Then just enable pull back and wait. If you select SP mode manually, you should be prepared. Just press one button and again aircraft will chose most critical threat. And in both case, you SOULD at least take split of seconds before you shoot. Even friendly radar is filtered out, friend radar may accidentally spikes you or threat RWR just picked up is faaaaar away for SP range unknown HARM shot. Take time to analyzes what is painting you and what you are targeting, then react.
