Hi all im working on a Iranian Su-25T (Its based on their UBK pattern) livery for the upcoming straight of Hormuz area. But im having a problem in the livery description figuring out what the correct line is for the PTB-800. I dont have 3d max so i cant extract the .EDM files to see whats being used but i have the feeling the PTB-800 is being shared by the same one the Su-25 uses..... I tried the following line for a custom PTB-800 but it doesnt work. {"PTB-800-PAINT", 0, "PTB-800-PAINT", false}, Does anyone from the community or Eagle Dynamics team know what the line should look like for the Su-25T so i can make my own PTB-800 paint textures work ingame on the Su-25T? As much as im hyped for the new F-5 tiger ][ and the upcoming merge 2.5 I was wondering if I'm the only one that really would like to know the status on the MiG-29 new external model (NOT the implementation of AFM/PFM) and the new ATC system that was being developed.

You guys remember this one ! HIND from Digital Integration 1996 Man the game was awsome ! really enjoyed that sim and spend hours in the pit. A few years ago i was playing ARMA and we were talking about Helo sims when we came across this one and one of the guys on teamspeak actually was a developer of digital integration (What are the odds lawl). I can understand your concern but i really think the $3000 mark shouldnt be a problem. Im willing to donate again if we come short. Regarding your question about what about the people that did not donate and are still be able to play with the DLC you paid for. I can only speak for myself but at the moment i can miss the $10 Starway is asking for his work and i really like what he made so far and is about to release to this community. Sure some people will think "heck why should i pay when others are doing this" but in the end i think by heart most of the people in the DCS community are fair and honest. I cant speak for everyone but i donate for the community and not just for me. I want this Sim to move forward and achieve great things. People sometimes have to make sacrifices to reach bigger goals. (But please lets refrain from discussion whether you should or should not donate)

Good to hear! Really love this community. Ever since the first Flanker came out I sticked to this like glue. You people make me feel good and happy to be a part off. I'm also really for Starway his work gets appreciated.

Hello ED, Mission 2 has a picture that shows 2 waypoints. But the mission itself has 3 waypoints. Small error should be easy to be corrected. Greetings

Sure some kits are better then other. But like i said this is my opinion as i have worked with alot of different kits. The tooling simply isnt as good like the other brands i mentioned. For example Revell/Monogram sometimes revive a kit that was released in the 80's and bring it back on the market with only different boxart... But i have to admit Revell customer support is top Notch ! I have the B-1 Lancer and one of the Windshields was broken out of the box. I contacted them and they send me 2 windshields even though the B-1 wasent even in production anymore (now it is again). Academy has some of the most horrible kits (F-111, MiG-29) on the market even though they are not cheap at all for what you get. I gave up on the F-111 and use it as a paintpalet to check my mixtures before brshing. Check this picture and see what i mean So yeah in the end it all comes down to personal experience. Just keep in mind that when you wanna buy a kit you might wanna check some reviews before buying because it could save you alot of money.

Not many UH-1H kits out there. From what i read on the different model sites the Italeri kit seems to be the best on the market right now. But you might wanna consider building this badboy The UH-1Y Venom from Kittyhawk. I do alot of modeling and theres a few things you need to know about the brands. I will begin with a list that sells kits for not much dollar, euro or whatever currency and is good for beginners but generaly poor when it comes to details, fit, extra's, precision and plastic/molding quality. Not so good (mediocre) brands : Revell, Italeri, Academy, Airfix Now the better brands wich are more pricey most of the time aswell. Note that the older kits from Trumpeter were pretty poor quality aswell but their later work is really nice. Eduard makes aftermarket stuff and brings kits with aftermarket stuff together wich is nice. Tamiya is known for their excellent fit but is really expensive. Good brands : Hasegawa, Tamiya, Hobby Boss, Eduard, Trumpeter A newcomer on the market and an interesting brand to keep an eye on is AMK. They have released a MiG-31 Foxhound last year. The quality on the sprues and plastic seem to be topnotch. Detail quality is really high aswell. They have plans for a MiG-25 Foxbat in the near future aswell. Kinda makes you understand why some of the kits are so expensive when you see the machine needed to make missiles alone.

Some quick questions for ED about the mission. 1 - Why arent the enemy Su25's departing from an airport like any other plane in the mission? (they fly back to one) 2 - Are there more missions with this system? (random appear near you in the sky) 3 - Why was this scripted this way? 4 - Can this be adjusted in a patch please? As soon as you see this message pop up they have magically spawned on location. So beware :mad: The easiest way to deal with the situation is to stay around the lake part of the map as shown in my screenshot. From that point you have enough space between you and the enemy Su'25's to order your wingman to engage and set your own targets with 27ER's before going IR visual merge.

I think mission one should be adjusted. The su25's pop up near you out of nowhere. The whole mission until the su25's come is nice but then the immersion is just gone and the whole thing is down the toilet. I actually never got further then mission 1 because each time i try the mission the Su25's just randomly appear like magic on top of you..... and then im done (frustration). I would like to see this fixed. Because at the moment i kinda regret buying the campaign.

I fully understand the point you stand now Starway. I think the plan you came up with is the best route you can take to get a stable income for the work you have done. But i really think and this is my personal opinion that Eagle Dynamics should buy the rights for the 3000$ and distrubute it through the official channels. Somehow it just doesnt feel right that because the protection system failed to implement your whole project is dropped and no longer in association with ED even though that was the initial plan. I would therefor like to ask Eagle Dynamics to help Starway and buy the rights for the T3 and T4 packages. I have bonus $ on my account that im willing to trade in for ED helping Starway. Hell im even willing to pay for a Cap or T-shirt that ED sells through the store to get some of the money back for the packages.
