This might be nitpicking but leafs collision model stops jeeps on the roads... I know its not a driving simulator, buts maybe you could remove the collision model from leafs, or clear the roads. On the bright side it is fascinating driving on the islands!!! -

The problem would be PRC throwing a tantrum if Taiwan is depicted as a "free" country instead of a rebel province... And yeah nobody would give a dam, except that they are a Huge market and you really don´t want to get banned...;)

is that a fact? I thought it was going to be free for all like the Tarawa... Altho best of both worlds would be: no SC you get a Stenis functionality, but if you do have the SC then the forrestall inherits its treats...

The solution was very easy just eliminate the Alpha transparency. No transparency, no number. The file is: Nimitz Pain new Base And its the first thin line after the Runway demarcation line. (the one with the arrow in the picture). Just fill with black in the alpha channel and the number is gone ;). -

Thanks mate, yeah I have scrutinized that file over an hour, and found nothing.. maybe its part of the EDM file... I will try eliminating parts of the Alpha to check what happens... -
Hi, don´t know where to post this so here it goes. I am trying to repaint the CVN 75 (based on Elies grate Prince Philip skin -https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3316852/) I found most decals, but i just cant find where the number on the bow of the flight deck is generated. Anybody has any clue? which file? where? thanks in advance!!!

Static object- platform segment or runway segment to be ableto make road bases. Or a function or triger toremove friction in a zone.

I really don´t get it. the OP is asking for a new option, Not trying to dictate how other people play. you want to know your position activate F 10 map with all options... About enforcing options, play with like minded people. Do not expect to come to my server and in the name of liberty demand your options or way of play. If the server admin wants people to have to work to know where they are, it should be doable. And if you don´t feel confortable or feel someone is dictating How you fly,do not join that server. There are lots and lots of different servers...

how is it a problem if its and OPTION to take it off or leave it on? You can Always enable maps F10 Options to "your plane", and you can leave the navigation to the computer.. but if full realism is implemented then the full immersion of not knowing where you are unless you do the math should be there...

IT really frustrating having the possibility to use unimproved bases and road sites but the Ground Friction makes manoeuvring on the ground imposible... Please give us a square invisible if it must be where we can turn and taxy at least.. -

Not all DCS is competitive gaming, What I need is to place a takeoff landing place somewhere in the map that I need to make sense with the story of the mission, not a game platform... AI is no problem since you can make them fly low and despawn.... But to have the flexibility for clients to use improvised bases anywhere is priceless.. Think of all the dead space our maps currently have that could be used to spawn missing... you can build fortress, bases, military targets, plenty of stuff at your hearts content, we lack roads and placeable airfields... the res is there. The conquering or is purely anecdotic... And like I said you don´t need AI to land and park you can always despawn them over the runway with triggers. -

Please, please!!! we already got the ability to spawn anywhere.. now we need a couple of Tarmac squares and a couple of Runway Sections to place in flat terrain. It would ad SO much Flexibility to the ME if we could buod our unimproved airbases.... Please ED even if only for clients due to taxi and AI issues... -
YES PLEASE! we need some kind of Placeable runways to be able to make airbases anywhere in the map. A couple of static objects that would support the planes would do, a tramac square and a few runway sections would suffice...

Hi, is it working for you guys? On flat terrain, but no roads, the A4 does not roll and the f-5 brakes the gear as soon as it spawns (on the ground Hot)... 2'7 Open Beta here... -
I couldn´t care less about the Apache. Where is the Mosquito, where is Marianas, Damage model for ships, ground objects? Better Bomb effects models, better Interaction with water (Skip), delayed bombs? fuses? ...

Steam updated the date of the Hind t June 16 and then maybe a new "Two Weeks" waiting period will come ... Marianas Oh well who knows maybe its not Q2 for sure LOL....
