Don´t look now but we have had Skyhawks taking off from Forestalls and Nimitz for a while... yeah thats right they use Bridles. When they do model a Naval phantom, yes I expect the full monty.. but for a quick stand in I can live without perfection...} And Yeah if I am going to have to pay full price for a new Phantom, give me a Midway or Mod Essex too... Still modern cataputs can support bridles , its just not done any more. Question, Did no Super Etandard ever took off form a Nimitz class carrier during a NATO standardization exercise?

yes I have more modules than I can fly, but hey on day Ill retire and I will have a hangar full of planes and helos to fly Besides some Modules I just Have to have. Specially anything form early cold war till the 80s. But I try to support the new 3rd parties: got the C-101 so I could get my hands ne the F1, Got the MB 339 more than for being Argentinian, to support india Foxtrot so they can make the Gina (Fiat G-91) , got the JF 17 on the first day I believe that a grate job deserved my wallet vote. I do have the L-39 I bought it when i had a bunch of cash and got into DCS, i read wonderful reviews of it as a grate module.. I flew a few training and never ever again. I have every chopper except the Apache (to complex for me right now, having trouble keeping up with more than three modern modules at a time) Will not get the main stream like F-15E I already played it in two or three previous incarnations, I want new stuff, not the same old planes just more accurate. dont care much for post 2000 either, the EF will not be coming to my hanger soon. but I am expecting lots of goodies, mig 23, Pucara, A 29, Mirages all and every one of them (yes I have 2k and F1), the century fighters, first day buy for me... A-7. F-8, probably F4U too, Mig 17, SU 17/22... Anything analog basically Enough ranting LOL, yeah I am a H@re for modules, Love them I cant get enough... I used to collect scaled Models, now I buy digital DCS Modules. I can admire them and fly them too.

Yeah I know its been announced, but lets be realistic, EF 2000, A-6, are "first in line", and who knows what else (still waiting for a 95-GR, or even a 135 Early for that matter) and being that a Module takes a few years to create and make ready for EA, we are talking 2025 with any luck. Regarding tail hook, yeah it should work but won´t be able to launch again.

I can admit I might be passive aggressive. But the over dissection of a simple "feature request" an addition that you can use or not use if you deem it offensive or "non realistic" is over the top. Just like asking for easy AAR or whatever makes a DCS P{layers life easier and its not mandatory and a feature you can ignore or turn off. All in the name of a "hyper realism" that is juts a fantasy, maybe it is "as close as you can get", but still a false premise. but i rest my case its like talking to a wall . Really baffles me the feeling of personal attack some people get when someone proposes a "compromise"... LOL and the Kid sim.. Couldn´t agree more. they should focus in mid 60s early 80s. we have all the data, we have empirical data too. Personaly Im not getting the EF nor the F 15E, dying to get my hands on the A7 and F 8 tho.

NEED HELP : in order to use the decal file, how do I redirect the LUA files entries to the main Skin, in the "SavedGames/Liveries" directory? For example the factory Italian skin uses the main Skin from the Textures files in the core game. How do I tell the lua file to look in the Liveries folder?

yes the "acuracy" people are simulating the rivets.. but the system does not work as it should. You can throw as many tech data as you want. The simulation of the weapons systems: F 14-A + AIM 54c is not represented accurately. And that is the main fact. you can yadayada all you want... In teh world of Simulations numbers are not all that matters, since the experience is different than reality. The flight model of teh F 14 feels alive, i dont know it its morer accurate thna the viper o Hornet one, but it feels better... in the same manner, the Phoenix feels wrong. period.

oh yeah best stand in for LA-9 facing attack Corsairs over Korea i guess they are quite evenly match also Corsairs being D-1s and LA being 7...
