  1. I did some additional testing and it appears that there is no connection to the target that I'm lasing and to which target my wingman aims for. As far as my approach, I would lase a target (in this case a tank) and call to my wingman to attack my target, which did nothing. I then told them to attack ground targets and when there was only a few targets available it seems like they followed the laser, but once 12 targets are out there, it became a free for all. I also found it interesting, that even with wingman set to expert, and loaded with 4 LGB, static tanks, they missed all of them. As far as the laser code, I had everything set to 1688, but I'm going to trying and set my wingman up with 1687 to see if that will help or hurt.
  2. So is it possible to buddy lase for an AI wingman or another AI flight? I have been doing some testing with the targeting pod on the F-16, and I was trying to get my AI wingman to hit the target that I'm lasing, but I can't tell if it is his approach/tech or if I'm doing something wrong. He is engaging the correct target but is always off target. I have tried a few searches on the subject and I couldn't find anything that was helpful. Thank you!
  3. Thank you ED, the SC is amazing!

    Just got Huey

I have several hours flying the Black Shark, but I never really got the hang of it. To be honest, I'm more of a fixed wing kind of guy, but during the free trial month I decided to give the Huey a try. Man that thing is awesome, I'm having a blast learning this beast. I had to picked it up also. Now I just need to learn how to landed it most consistently.
  6. Check out the post linked below. Bignewy recommended turning on the "enable unrestricted SATNAV" I tried it yesterday and it worked for me. Now I just need to take out the bandits once I get to India. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=260556
  7. I'm not trying to be a buzzkill, but doesn't the sale being extended push the EA SC release out? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4275912#post4275912
  8. The new video is awesome!
  9. Did one of the latest updates mess this up? I recently did a fresh install of both the Stable and Open Beta and reinstalled NTTR Mission and Air Weapons Range Objects - 14NOV19, the mission were placed into the mission folder in both versions and the Range object is in the mod/tech folder, but i still get the error message that it was unable to find the Range Targets. What did i do wrong? Thanks in advance and thanks to the 476th, awesome work! ( I did having it work on the previous install.)
  10. I does seem to be improving. Now it is about a minute and isn't freezing. The cat is awesome. Processor Intel® Core i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz, 3504 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical, OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro x64-based PC, Mother Board MS-7978, Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB, Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
  11. I have waited 1/2 hour, and still no change.
  12. I have been experiencing a random freezing on my PC since the Hornet came out, but now since the tomcat has come out, it seems like all my instant action mission freeze at the fly screen. It should also be noted, that behind the fly screen is all black. I can control alt del out, and in the task manager has DCS as not responding. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks
  13. Long story short: I started having issues with DCS crashing a few month ago, in the process on trying to resolve it , I discovered that my GeForce GTX 1070 AERO 8G video card was starting to fail. Sent it back to manufacture and used the onboard video card, but now it crashes all the time, especially when I launching a weapon, firing the cannon or crashing into the ground (I know if I would quit crashing into the ground that would fix that problem). I should have a replacement card next week, so my questions is will the replacement card fix this issue or is there another issue that is causing my problem? Thanks
  14. Glad that you liked my article, I had a blast watch this jet come back to life. Buck was my primary source technical information for the article, but I also visited https://classicjets.org/ for some information. If you are interested in purchasing real L-39 check out http://www.code1aviation.com/, they always some sweet jets for sale. Small world, when we did the A2A photos for the article we were operating to the west of Rockford in the Byron area, we actually did some pylon turns close to the nuke plant.
  15. I love the level of detail that is put into each mission, the FAM is a great way to start the flying. I just wish the F5 didn't require so much trim work. I do have a quick question, on the 1st BFM mission, I'm supposed to be the one checking in correct? and to do this I just use the "" menu correct? Thanks ...Check Six!!!
  16. That is a great article, I can't remember how many times I have read it. Plus the author is a awesome pilot/writer! If you click on link below and select the September 2013 issue, there is an article that I wrote about a L-39's journey to return to the wild blue. That opportunity gave me a greater appreciation of that jet, plus it is a blast to ride in. http://magazine.airshowstuff.com/issues.html
