Looking real good hegykc. I'm excited! -
I agree with you. I have bought a lot of aircraft for DCS (every module so far) but many I have bought just to support the developers. I primarily just fly in the A-10C, and the only fighter jet I like to fly once in a while is the F-15C, which is a Flaming Cliffs aircraft. I really need a high fidelity modern Western fighter jet, because that's all I've actually been waiting for in DCS for the past 3 years I've been using this sim. The only news that actually makes me excited now is the new engine, but I think that will wear off quickly once it's released, as I still wont have my fighter jet.

I've always noticed issues on the site with logging in, as it will automatically log you out when visiting another page. Now I can't purchase anything, however. I'm trying to buy the MiG-15bis, but when I get to the page where I fill in my payment and delivery details (which are already filled in because I'm logged into my account) and I hit the "Complete Order" button, I get directed to a page that says Registerd Users or New Users, as if I have to log in again. Can you please fix this! I really want to buy this bird!

Not the same connector as the HOTAS Warthog unfortunately. Perhaps hegykc will be able to charge extra for such a connector, but we'll have to see. Would be pretty cool if that would be possible to expand it for the X-55 as well. -

I don't know if the X-55 has a detachable stick or not. If not, highly unlikely that these will work with the X-55, as there is not simple way to connect the stick to the base. -

I wouldn't expect an update after he just gave an update 2 weeks ago. Usually, it takes a while before significant progress is made. I would give it at least wait a month before asking for an update -
I own all modules and I don't fly anymore, but that's more because I'm too busy with school. I do think I will try harder to make more time once DCS 2.0 is here

Yeah, I thought so. That's unfortunate. Also weird that Kinney Interactive's website is gone, cause I thought they also made their own simulator pits. I guess that didn't work out either.
-
I'm just wondering, this project is completely dead right? Couldn't find a facebook page, or the website of Kinney Interactive. I remember them mentioning after the kickstarter failed, that they would continue to work on the project, just at a slower rate. Now I'm thinking that the project is completely gone.

Can't say I can agree with this at all, but everyone has their own opinion. I'm enjoying DCS more and more everyday, and I don't expect it to decline anytime soon, especially with EDGE, new theaters and new aircraft coming so soon.

He just gave an update 10 days ago. I think we should wait before asking for another update. -
Yeah, I was thinking of buying a copy for a friend, but somehow they ran out of a digital copy of an aircraft? Seems a little odd. Maybe it has something to do with the flash sale and Belsimtek not wanting to sell many keys for such a low price? That's all I can think of.

You just made my day! Thank you so much for the update. Very excited and good to hear you have the printer. Good luck and thank you :D -

@hegykc, could you make us even happier with your own September update perhaps? We would greatly appreciate getting an update on how stuff is coming along. Of course, we understand if you're busy and you simply don't have time. Thanks -
I couldn't tell you how anxious I would be as well. The hornet will most likely be my favorite bird

I'm going to be honest and say I'm not really interested in any Russian aircraft or helicopters, just mostly in modern western airplanes (not saying Russian aircraft aren't modern, just saying I want modern western airplanes rather than old western airplanes). However, I will buy anything that ED develops or any of their partner 3rd party devs, so if there would be a Su-25T, I would happily buy it.

I agree with the TM HOTAS Warthog guys. I've had a variety of Saitek products, such as the rudder pedals, yoke, X52 pro, throttle quadrant. They're nice, but most of their products are plastic fantastic, so they'll break easily, not have a very premium quality feel, and as mentioned earlier, Saitek uses pots instead of sensors, which isn't really the best option. I have heard that the new X55 is quite a bit better, but I would still trust the HOTAS Warthog over any other HOTAS. Best build quality, realism, software, user friendly and sensors of any stick. @aeliusg, The TM HOTAS Warthog is better than any similar CH stick, such as the fighter stick or the flightstick pro. The HOTAS Warthog is Air Force certified, and it is actually used in the USAF to train A-10C pilots. Not in the full fledged simulators that are exact replicas that use the same parts, but the more simple grade simulators in the USAF for A-10C pilots. They also use the exact same simulator, the ED A-10C, only we have a consumer version, not the exact same version. For a nice comparison of the sensors, see this link. It shows the HOTAS Warthog has the best sensors of any stick currently available.: http://www.simhq.com/_technology3/technology_174g.html I was looking for a replacement stick, and I was really happy I spent a little more for the HOTAS Warthog. I don't even use my Saitek yoke anymore for commercial flying, as the HOTAS Warthog just feels so much better to fly with. Check out the virtual thunder birds. They also use the TM HOTAS Warthog.

I sure hope not. I really prefer the F/A-18C over any aircraft really, apart from the F-15 and F-22 maybe. Coretex seems to be showing some screenshots and some updates once in a while, but I haven't checked them lately. They've got a pretty nice F/A-18E video, screenshots an carrier. Since we haven't heard anything of the F/A-18C yet, I think the F/A-18E might come earlier.

My TrackIR is recognized. Is it detected in the settings? Cause shouldn't you be able to assign it in the control settings? Anyways, for some reason I cannot move my head down on the Y axis. I can go up, left, right, forwards, backwards and tilt my head. For some reason I cannot move my head down on the Y axis, which makes it difficult to read some of the text in the cockpit

It was in the process of installation to be honest. Now I'm flying! :joystick::pilotfly: It's amazing!
-
Yeah so I just bought it, and I just installed it. Shouldn't it be released tomorrow? Can we fly it already?
-
Yes it is. It will be released tomorrow!
