Yeah I heard of the new drivers and they sound good. I'm not a fanboy of either, but I have to say that I'm leaning towards the 7990, and as you mentioned, it will be better for higher res and multi monitors. Since you are a AMD fanboy, could you suggest as to what 7990 to get. Like Sapphire, MSI, Powercolor? Thanks!

I am thinking of getting a new GPU, as mine is a bit old and I want to play on all 3 of my monitors. Let me start off by saying that SLI or Crossfire is not an option, because i have no room left on my motherboard. So, the 7990 is my first choice, because it has 6gb of mem, its the faster card of both options, and it's also the cheaper option. However, many people have told me to get the 690, without a reason. I am wondering why this is. Which would you get? I don't play any PhysX games, I am planning to only play DCS, Arma III and BF4. So... 7990 or 690, and please give a valid reason why. Plus, could you also suggest to me which one to exactly buy, as in manufacture (ex. EVGA, Sapphire, MSI etc.) Thanks in advance!

I am trying to create my own signature, but I want the DCS logo. All I can find are some low quality images of the DCS logo, or they don't have a transparent background. Does anyone know where I can get the DCS logo in HQ. I would also like to have the Eagle Dynamics and The Fighter Collection logo in HQ. Thanks in advance!

Eagle Dynamics is currently working on a DCS: F/A-18C which will be A-10C quality. The exterior, aka 3D, model is already inside of the current version of DCS. The AI of the F/A-18C is the same exterior we will see in the DCS: F/A-18C. The Super Hornet (F/A-18E) will be developed by Coretex Designs, a third part developer who is currently working on the aircraft as we speak and also have their own section on the forum: http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=255 They already have images etc. I am also hoping to see the F/A-18 in DCS. That will probably be my favorite fast mover on DCS!

This is a difficult decision. I want to back you guys up, but I will be in a very busy time of my life when the F-35 arrives. BTW, I see that when you pledge 150, you get F-35B or C. Does that mean you cannot buy it separately, but you have to pledge 150?

I was wondering if it is possible for me to share the track I saved with the F-15C from FC3 to my friends who only own the A-10C. Will they be able to view it in DCS? Or are they required to own the module? I assume it should work because they do have the exterior model of every aircraft, only they don't have the cockpit I guess. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? Thank you!

The exterior model is already in DCS World as AI, so I assume that work has started.

I would love to hear some ETA on when the F/A-18C is coming... we'll never get that. But I'll be waiting patiently...

I cannot find the part where they said we'll have to pay for EDGE. I think EDGE will just be included in DCS World, as an update to the engine. Then I think Nevada should be a paid-DLC for those who did not pre-order the A-10C. Same goes for future theaters. Isn't that kind of straight forward? As for the upcoming mid-fidelity aircraft and the FC discussion, I don't really care. I don't really like mid-fidelity and FC.

haha, that is exactly what i'm doing. I just picked out a few friends, who don't play flight games at all, only bf3 and cod, stuff like that, and telling them : you are going to play DCS with me over the summer. Even though they're kind of confused that they're being forced to play a combat flight sim, im sure they'll like it XD

Then why is ED heading in the wrong direction? I want ED to wake up! Please listen to the consumer!

There is a lot of debate going on about ED saying they will be developing a few mid-fidelity aircraft. A lot of people claim they want high-fidelity/ DCS Standard aircraft, as in A-10C quality which, I think, the UH-1H got to. I want to know other people's opinion and I think this will be helpful for ED as well, as they will be able to see what we really want.
