How is that a good idea? Everyone clearly wants the high fidelity DCS Standard aircraft. They said they would be making mid-fidelity aircraft, not "FC Standard". But when they initially told us there was a DCS F-15C and a F/A-18C module coming, you would kind of assume they were refering to DCS Standard aircraft, which is high fidelity, not Flaming Cliffs standard.

I do remember that most 3rd part developers said they were contracted to develop aircraft at the DCS Standard. This means that I can only look forward to the F/A-18E from Coretex Designs and the F-15E by either RAZBAM or Iris. I actually really wanted to see a the F/A-18C from ED, but I guess this will be during my exam year, thus, I won't have any time to actually enjoy this aircraft. :( I did promise myself to complete my collection during this sale, so I just bought the UH-1H and Combined Arms. Please ED, no more Flaming Cliffs!

Oh wow. I am quite dissapointed about the FC modules. I'm kind of quitting Flaming Cliffs now, and am not planning on buying any extra modules related to FC. I was actually looking forward on seeing high fidelity/DCS Standard (isn't there a reason for calling it Standard? ) aircraft. I have to be honest, this is a letdown for me. I expected something better from DCS

Great news! Thank you so much for putting so much effort in this project. I'm sure this will be a great hit when the actual F/A-18 or F-15 modules are released. Keep up the good work!

I was wondering if anyone actually bought this yet from that online printing service. If so, what is it like? Did anyone get to try it yet, even though it wouldn't really fit in DCS yet, seeing as there is no F/A-18 or F-15. Thanks.

I think your squads were the ones going in the wrong direction, not the study sims. DCS is improving every month and getting closer to an even more advanced and complicated sim. More simulation, more realism, more fun!

Is IG the same as EDGE? I'm sure most of you noticed that Wags mentioned Image Generator (IG). Is that what we know as EDGE? Or is that something different. I was not sure what this was. I am looking forward to seeing DX11 and graphics improvements.

AFAIK, any of the previous versions is needed. You need either LOMAC, FC1 or FC2 to be able to install and play FC3. That's it. So you can have FC1 and not have LOMAC and FC2 and install FC3.

This should really be a priority. The weather in DCS World is really underdeveloped. Hope they will quickly give us some updated weather effects.

I'm just saying that you don't need LOMAC FC1 and FC2 to get FC3. You only need any of the previous versions. I bought a old second hand copy of LOMAC for a no more than 5 bucks, and FC3 works perfectly. And it doesn't matter where you install it. I installed LOMAC on my D drive, while I install al my DCS modules including FC3 on my E drive.

Nice setup. I considered the idea of putting it on my armrest, but I just don't think that will work out for me. I can try, but I'm not sure. I would like to have it between my legs, but not too close to me. The MOBO just looks silly and I cannot imagine myself using it. I think I will have to build something attached under my chair between my legs so I can attach my stick to it, and I'll probably detach my stick every time I do something else than DCS. Btw, is that an actual Air Force chair? or did you put that emblem on there? Anyways, very nice chair!

Wow! Imagine having this stick and throttle with the DCS: F/A-18 or F-15. That would be so amazing! Keep up the good work. Looks amazing!

That is interesting. Looks very promising. Do you have any suggestions for what to do with my stick? How would I have to drill into my chair or anything like that? That is no problem btw, I just have now clue what to do with the stick.

It's no biggie. I appreciate all the work ED and 3rd party developers do for us. Their work is amazing and a gift code should definitely not have a high priority. It is more of a luxury. It is great having such a wonderful community of simmers.

I was not sure where to post this, but since it is related to my HOTAS Warthog, I thought I'd best post it here. I want to attach my HOTAS Warthog, throttle and stick, to my IKEA chair. I just have no idea how to do this. I was also thinking of getting a extension for the stick, but that won't work out for me, money wise. Like most movable stick, I want to put my stick between my knees. But unfortunately, I would have no idea how to do that. My throttle I would just want to mount on the left. I think it would be best to somehow attach a kind of table on the left side of my chair where my armrest would usually be, which I took off. But for the stick I would have no idea what to do with it. So my question is, does anyone here have any suggestions on how I should mount it? Once again, I am very tight on money. I have included pictures of my chair below. Thank you!

This is something that shouldn't take so long to put into the ED Store. I think it would be very nice to have a simple gift option when purchasing products. So when you purchase it you get a code and you can send it to a friend as a gift. Anyone else think this would be a good idea? Since the sale is coming up, I thought it would be a good idea.

You mean unbinding it from my account and then sending the serial to him? That sounds like it should work.

With the upcoming ED sale, I have decided to complete my ED collection and get the Belsimtek Huey and Combined Arms. I also want to buy maybe two DCS: A-10C modules for two of my friends. Anyone know if there is a gift option or something like that? Anything at all that could allow me to give it to them as a present or something? Thanks in advance!

The sales ED has are great. I joined the DCS community not so long ago. I got the A-10C for 15.99 on new years eve. Then in March I bought BS2 complete, so 1 and 2, for 19.99 and the P-51D for only 9.99. Very great deals. I would say just wait for the next sale, if you can wait of course.

+1 That is exactly what I wanted to say. I want some EDGE and Nevada news. They said they would give some info about it "in a few weeks" and that was I think a month or more ago.
