    @baltic_dragon This is great to see! Any plans to add a PDF ToC at some point? Clickable bookmarks in the pages are great, but having the doc structure down the side of the PDF reader is really useful!

  6. The theory is that everyone wins with the EA model. The developer gets cashflow earlier The people that don't mind bugs/missing features get to use the product earlier Those that don't want bugs/missing features can wait until the product is complete Of course that assumes the developer completes the product at some stage.....

  8. If you're complaining about the whole concept of EA, then fine you can do that. But I don't see how you can complain about bugs being found before something even releases, given the point of testing things before they release is to find bugs
  9. Eh? You said (and appeared to be complaining that) "Now the modules are bugged even before they get released into early access." which makes zero sense. Software will have bugs before it it released, and will STILL have bugs after release in this case, since the release in question is into Early Access, not final state. We should expect bugs all the way through EA.

  11. I think part of the problem was Razbam saying in their discord that the delay was nothing to do with their module.... Which doesn't seem to tally with "It was jointly decided between RAZBAM and EDSA leadership that the F-15E required additional time to test and address bugs identified by EDSA internal testing/Closed Beta Testing (CBT)." Maybe it was a technical issue on the DCS side, so the two things together needed more time to bake..... Edit: this

    Not at EA release - the Hornet has been around much longer and had many updates. Over time, I'd expect the answer to be that they end up similarly complete and complex.

  16. yeah I know it's trying to look right. I was more just thinking whether it was a missing 3d model thing (i.e. the bad bits we're seeing are terrain not models) But I think it's much more likely that there's a bug in the LODs or the models are just different.
  17. Maybe the pyramid 3d model is actually completely missing? nullThe other pyramid has a 3d bit just for the top. Maybe the main pyramid is completely missing it's 3d model bit and we're just seeing the rough terrain shape that should be underneath? I'm totally guessing now

  20. If it's not going to look the same, the trailer should have a footnote saying 'rendered with non-EA models' or something. If it said that, cool. BTW I think the map looks great. Just bits do seem to jar against the trailer.....
  21. That still looks absolutely nothing like the trailer though. We're not talking just about impressions of blockiness. The model in the trailer appears to have individually sculpted blocks... The blocks are varied sizes with different shadows etc.
  22. I've just tried the 'high' preset. No difference. Never looks anything other than like this. Doesn't matter how close I go.
  23. The trailer is individually modelled large blocks. I can't get in-game to look anything like it
  24. I've tried 3 times of day, circling at various distances, and no point does that pyramid render in nice large blocks like that trailer image. All I get is very thin slices per layer. Are my settings wrong? My settings are high, and I'm 50' away from the pyramid....
