  1. Tough question :) As we just had the summersale. Both on steam and the ED's store. You might want to check if you receive the newsletter from ED. That could help with announcements. Possible saleperiods seem to be autumn sales / Xmas sales (either steam or here).
  2. The digital right management license keys costs is a big reason for example. If it wouldn't cost much (cost time to implement and it's individual customer support) ED would have done this I presume.
  3. I understand the issue. But picking up BS2 in a sale is an idea, then it doesn't really cost a lot more then the upgrade itself. Is there a functionality missing when you add for example DCS World or even the open beta from ED's website to your library in steam? The steamoverlay works fine this way(and friends can see that you play DCS). but I'm not sure what other benefits/features you are looking for. (To add, the key codes from the bought steam 'dlc' (in steamstore) will always work in the DCS World version from ED's website. Since a month or so and from then on the module keys from ED's webstore don't activate in steam anymore.)
  4. Great to read this, thanks!
  5. Can I suggest this ? (Since the 10$ backing was specially beta acces) $1-$9 Bronze Backer credit in manuals $10-$19 Bronze Backer credit in manuals Normandy Map $20-$39 Bronze Backer credit in manuals DCS: P-51D Mustang and print-ready PDF manual Normandy Map
  6. Why not give the map for free, especially for all the backers? Where is the love???? :music_whistling:
  7. ED was certainly sleeping during the KS campaign. :smilewink:
  8. Thanks for the chance. Have a great day everyone. :)
  9. Chances are very small they do something for a 'gaming customer'. But, if you can make support escalate your problem to (top)management and highlight unlawful practises (&terms) from Valve EU with your national laws, you might have a chance. ;) Goodluck!
  10. good job :)
  11. @Ron, I think we should let Mustang just do what he is good in. Finding those beautiful sky's with wonderful looking clouds regardless of size or other reasonable 'restrictions'. Many of us are just enjoying Mustangs' settings in any flight instead of being in multiplayer combat. The mods are optional, and you can always revert back if it's installed on your side. If it's needed, the server integrity checks should cover 'cheating issues'. If it's not then there is an issue.
  12. Nice version Mustang, thanks  I hope the minor issues can be solved without a problem.
  13. @c0ff Thanks a lot. The P-51 seems to be working fine here with msffb2 (also shake and situation after crash and new plane)
  14. Check this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2002755&postcount=5 And the download for the already edited lua files in jsgme format: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2023030&postcount=7
  15. I guess the lights dim at his neighbors xD Thanks for sharing what you have created :)
  16. Looking really good! A few of these kind of quality textures around in view, boosts the scenery immensely. Good job.
  17. I'm very excited about this great move from ED. A great time to release a 2-seater in spring for all the lovebirds :). It's just a fantastic way to promote DCS. And to fly over new terrain would be even better. :smilewink:
  18. I got a crate of beer hanging under my Huey !!
  19. We were talking about the (fps) performance boost. Image/shader quality of screenshot etc doesnt provide that info. Just not to place quotes out of context.
  20. Ah you really smacked that within 5 minutes lol. But I ran your sentence through 3 descramblers to be sure .. ^^
  21. @Sobek tiny, tiny leak possible? ;) Like FPS performance results (+%) between old engine and new renderer on old map :D
