I know that once someone changed Magic to AIM-9 but the missile can't be used.

Nowadays, we know that it's not possible to add MICA to Mirage in DCS. What if I try to replace Super 530D with MICA files? In cockpit, there'll be still 530 but MICA in use? Is it possible?

Hello. I've installed black cockpit mod for M-2000C and now it's more similar to 2000-5Mk2 version. My question is - is there any possibility to change cockpit light color from orange to blue/green which is in 2000-5Mk2? I know there's no any option to do this in cockpit so I guess I would have to edit/change some files in DCS directory. Which one?

In Bazar/World/textures , there's no folder which is responsible for Mirage 2000C. Mirage directory is in folder CoreMods/aircraft/M-2000C but there's no folder with GBU-12 textures.

I got Starway's pack and when you set winter, it looks even similar.

I did that but I haven't noticed and difference in GBU-12 for M-2000C so far.

Yes, that's a point. 2000-5F, 2000-5 Mk.2, Gripen, Dassault Rafale, Typhoon are too new. They contain high technology which is secret at this moment. From the other site, Typhon is under VEAO development but it doesn't seem to be relased in two or more years. F-18 - soon to be relased Super Hornet by Coretex ??? Why there's no F-16 version, even Block 15...?!

It depends on what you want. I would like to remind you that Mirage 2000-5 is a completly different plane, with different better radar, systems, electronics, cocpit, weapons, etc. What's more. More possible is making Mirage 2000-5F then Mirage 2000-5 Mk2 which Greece has. Not sure if 5F has a possibility to attack ground targets, even the same as 2000C has. Mk 2 is a better version but there's no any information about this. Not many models were built and some older were upgraded.

I noticed the same thing. The IP is completly in other place near border with Russia. It's a mistake. However. What should I do? I see explosions. I have to fly down and use flares above Russians. Even if I do this, they're still fighting.

I'm not sure but I think that MK82 need GPS navigation so it's good for static points [ creating in mission editor, additional point, theta, etc. ] but GBU bombs near laser. Never tried to use GBU without JTAC so far but if you have target and JTAC near it and if it's 'lasing' option is turned on and all those commands like SPOT, etc. are done, GBU gain target without any problems. I still don't understand what's going on with INS update and how many ways are to do this. I watched many videos and each says something else. I usually try to attack even if this cross on HUD is in other place because I can't change it. However, sometimes I hit the target, sometimes not. I can't imagine how to do this at night / fog / with many clouds and I'm using Mk82 and INS but if I take GBU with help of JTAC - it's not a problem.

If you want to have syntetic runway you have to: 1) choose one of airports in mission editor and set as a final point ( just check e.g. Batumi and set ' landing ' ) During flight: 1) choose the last waypoint 2) press APP button on your PCA 3) check what e.g. Batumi has got INS number and set it: - it will be 110.30 but I don't remember - write it to INS next to TACAN - and the MUST IMPORTANT, don't forget to change from A to M !!!

I tried to edit .lua file and add AIM-9 using commands from the other folder but it doesn't work. Yes, Magic II works better now but I wondered if it's possible to add and use some MICA missiles.

Hi. I watched this video, it was uploaded 11 months ago. My question is - does it still possible to use AIM-9 in Mirage?

I added my GTX 960 4GB. Game works fine with really good settings because all are high and the game is very fluent. I got different question. When I open DCS and mission starts ( I see cockpit and I have to press button to start ), my GPU increases fan speed and is louder. Here's a screenshot from MSI Afterburner at that situation. Is it right?

Is there any video which explains what ΔL/ΔG, ALT, ΔALT, etc. is? And how to do this by using INS or waypoints by mission editor or how to cooperate with JTAC to have cross at the same place where my target is? And how to use bombs like GBU-12 ( with JTAC there's lasering on but without not ) because they still don't hit the target...? I'm stupid, try to read something but still don't understand that. Some say that it's easy but at the beginning it looks to be difficult. The best way for my is to write what I should to step by step or in video like Rlaxox did - he helped me to understand INS, etc. I begin to give up because I still try, many times and still nothing.

I bought GTX 960 4GB because I found good offer. So, my specification will be: i-5 2500k 3.60 GHz GTX 960 4GB 8 GB RAM ( 2x 4GB will be changed for 2x 8GB in the nearest future ) What settings do you suggest with this specifiaction ( with 8GB RAM )?

Later, when I have more money, I'll think about additional 8GB RAM. Now I see that I've got 2x 4RAM.

I got 2 discs ( C, E ). At disc C I got Windows and some programs installed (350Gb free), E - for games, my files, downloads and lately for system back-ups which are make every week ( it takes a lot so I should remove some and start to place it at C ). I uninstalled some non-using games from E, remove some back-ups, compressed 70% of files and I received addional 50 GB. As I wrote, I bought GTX 960. Now, I want to buy 8GB RAM but I have to check if I have enough place for it.
