I found out that it's rather impossible to add other weapons to Mirage and make them working on it. So there's no chance for eg. working MICA. Is there any chance to add any weapon to Mirage, even if it's not working? I mean adding MICA, something like SCALP - I know they won't be working. It's just for external look.

Good. Can you change the color of cockpit lights in Mirage from orange to green/blue as Mirage 2000-5 Mk2 has?

Ok, I understood that's no chance for working MICA. If I want to have it possible to add even if it's not working, what should I do?

Can you make the same thing with Mirage's cockpit? There's one mod which makes it black but it's too dark.

Hi guys. I noticed Super 530 problem which is dangerous during fight and because of this, I was shot down a few times and my 530 were totally fault. At first I would like to ask if you know when I should use RDO button. It looks like to be auto lock but usually I lose this lock, there's also writen PSIC on HUD ( not sure if I remember it well ). If I used the missile before that and I lose lock, the missile can't hit target. What's going on? Sometimes I was near the target and I couldn't use those missiles succesfully.

It's like you would take Su-27 and would try to make Su-35. 'Almost the same construction' but inside is totally different. Versions 2000-5F, 2000-5 Mk2 are completly different. Once, I asked if it was possible to add MICA missiles to our Mirage 2000C. And the answer : No, hardcoded, too much differencies and work. Version 2000-5F is in French Air Force. New cockpit, new systems, new radar, new engine, new weapons ( MICA IF, IR, ER ). It's something between C version and the Rafale which was before the introduce. Version 2000-5 Mk2 could be seen in Hellenic Air Force. The same thing + advanced A/G abilities ( SCALP, etc ). The easier thing can be thinking about adding AM-39 Exocet ability which Mirage 2000 EGM in HAF has. Or adding R-73 like India did. By the way, in Hellenic Air Force are : - Mirage 2000EG ( C version with a few additions ) - Mirage 2000EGM ( with AM-39 ) - Mirage 2000-5 Mk2 - some new, some are upgraded EG version, that's why I'm not sure if EG version still exists. What's more, I don't think it can be possible to create it even if there'd be some personas who would like to try this. Notice, that F/A-18C will be without A/G radar and will be added in future. Using SCALP, GBU-12 ( without JTAC's help ) and probably AM-39 requires using this radar which doesn't exist in DCS. Also, will be without AIM-120 for some time which shows how difficult all these things are. So I don't wonder even adding MICA is hard. It requires new systems. There's no information about it and how it works. French don't want tell us how it works so forget about even EGM version. I don't even think about Rafale. VEAO also stopped their project with Typhoon and F-15E. Not enough informations nowadays to do this.

There's a huge difference between Mirage 2000C, Mirage 2000-5F and Mirage 2000-5 Mk.2 / 2000-9 .There're completly different aircrafts with different systems, weapons and cockpit. What's more, there's no any information about 2000-5F which could be enough to create this version. Forget about more advanced versions like Mk 2 and -9 are.

Not sure, I've got 1.5x version, so I don't have problem like you have guys, although I noticed that when I installed that mod, you can see the difference.

What about MYSE HUD mod?

Since, I've bought M-2000C module, I haven't flown any other aircraft so far

Once I used to use R-77 for Su-27 mod and it was working good. Not sure if it's still working. However, Mirage DCS model is more advanced, so it's not that easy.

Can you tell me if it's still possible to put and use AIM-9? How to do it? If it's still working? So it seems I have to learn how to use R550 and 530 properly. Some say that 530 is OP... I can't destroy the target by using R550... Some can win the fight with two F-16. For me it's hard to hit one F-4 because his AIM-7 is lethal weapon for me, and my 530 not because I have to have locked him so usually I'm destroyed by AIM-7... :/

Exocet AM-39 is in use and we can say it's Mirage 2000C. In Hellenic Air Force they got M-2000EG (export version of C version with some little additions), M-2000EGM ( those can use Exocet ) and M-2000 Mk2. SCALP EG is in use with M-2000 Mk2 so there's no chance for that.

It depends. It's true that when you turn FBW off, it's easier to refuel but if you are too slow or too fast, it's difficult to control the plane. My suggestion ( how I do this every time ): - FBW Spin Mode Switch - NORM ( so, FBW it's turned on ! ) - FBW G-Limiter Switch - STORES ( usually, I got weapons so STORES but even I have nothing, I set it from A/A to STORES before air refueling - the plane is more stable but there's sound warning and CONFIG light turns on ). The best way to learn: Use IL-78 because it has got lights which can help you. S-3B doesn't have them so it's more difficult, it's faster and the cable is shorter which makes air refueling more difficult because you're also in less distance to tanker. Once, because of air refueling, I did my mission. It took 7 hours! Targets were in other places of the map. I took off at 8 p.m and landed at 3 a.m. 2 R550 2 Fuel tanks 4 MK-82 1x2 GBU-12 1 UAV to intercept [R550] 1 MiG-23 to intercept [R550 + gun] ( with help of AWACS because all these planes I set as hidden on map ) 1 group of vehicles to destroy with help of JTAC [GBU-12] 1 tunguska to destroy with help of JTAC [GBU-12] 1 oil platform near Sochi to destroy [MK-82] 1 factory building added to the north of Crimea [MK-82] 1 factory building added to the place where Bulgaria is in real [ MK-82 ] 1 oil platform added to northern Turkey [MK-82] JTAC's targets were destroyed at day and one oil platform too but the rest of targets were destryoed at night with the help of thermovision mod. I took fuel in the air 4 times - 1 IL-78M at eastern Black Sea and 1 S-3B at central Black Sea. I love to refuel during night with high wind and beginning of storm. <3

Nowadays, we know that it's not possible to add MICA to Mirage in DCS. What if I try to replace Super 530D with MICA files? In cockpit, there'll be still 530 but MICA in use? Is it possible?

Hello. I've installed black cockpit mod for M-2000C and now it's more similar to 2000-5Mk2 version. My question is - is there any possibility to change cockpit light color from orange to blue/green which is in 2000-5Mk2? I know there's no any option to do this in cockpit so I guess I would have to edit/change some files in DCS directory. Which one?

In Bazar/World/textures , there's no folder which is responsible for Mirage 2000C. Mirage directory is in folder CoreMods/aircraft/M-2000C but there's no folder with GBU-12 textures.

I got Starway's pack and when you set winter, it looks even similar.

I did that but I haven't noticed and difference in GBU-12 for M-2000C so far.
