Thanks, it's good. My computer : i5-2500, GTX960, 8 GB RAM. Anyway, I edited it a bit. I set MSAA from 8x to 4x because there's no visible difference and takes less fps. Terrain Objects Shadows - I turned it off because I've not got fps drops now. AF set from 2x to 4x because now the runway looks better, sharper. Usually I've got about 45 fps. Sometimes 60, sometimes about 30, but without fps drops.

My current settings in game - unfortunately, once is good, once not and I've got fps drops: FPS: at the airports, alone : ~50 with other plane : 38-50 flight : over 100 over sea flight : over ground 40-80 flight : low altitude over forests near batumi 35-50 My computer specification : i5-2500 GTX 960 8 GB RAM Windows 8.1 My question is : What graphic settings do you suggest to me to have a good visibility ( distance ) and do not have pixels ( which is appearing when I turn MSAA off )?

What's the better way? Setting MSAA on 2x or turning it off but turning on FXAA on Nvidia CP? I noticed that turning MSAA off gives me about 15 frames. Can you show me the difference between off and 2x? I took a few photo but I don't see difference.

So you try to start it up like e.g. Su-27? Dude, Harrier like Mirage, MiG-21, etc. is clickable. Learn how to use it. It requires more time but it's good anyway.

Ok, so I have to download and install 1.5.8 beta to update it later if the stable version isn't going to be updated anymore. All modules, mods work on open beta?

Not sure, if I understood. At this moment, the only one DCS I have on my computer installed is STABLE version 1.5.8. Soon, 2.5 version will be relased. So, what now? Is there any possibility that STABLE 1.5.8 will be updated or I have to install Open Beta version in 1.5.8 and it'll be updated to 2.5 with new Caucasus Map?

Quick question - what kind of Snecma M53 we have in DCS? "The SNECMA M53 afterburning turbofan was developed for the ACF, and was available for the Mirage 2000 project. It is a single-shaft engine of modular construction that is relatively light and simple compared to those of the British or American designs. The M53 consists of three low-pressure turbine stages, five high-pressure stages and two turbine stages.[20] With the development programme consisting of 20 engines, the M53 sans suffix was first bench tested in February 1970 and became airborne on a Caravelle testbed in July 1973. Dassault conducted flight tests of the M53-2 version using its Mirage F1E testbeds starting in December 1974; this version produced 84 kilonewtons (19,000 lbf) in afterburner. The Mirage 2000 itself was powered by two versions of the M53 – the M53-5, which equipped initial operational aircraft, was rated at 88 kN (20,000 lbf) of thrust with afterburner. Dude, the last activity in this thread was almost 2 years ago. DCS World focuses on Russia and Georgia, no more Crimea like Lock On did. There probably won't be any Crimea missions because all airports, cities on Crimea were removed. -
Unforunately, there's nothing similar to these 1700l tanks. The other way is to use 1150 from MiG-29 but they also have a different angle. Any idea how to set them upper like 2100?

Automatic mode doesn't work at this moment, it's still W.I.P. However, you can set one of 10 options on right console. Number 5 use one flare when you press delete button. Auto uses all flares at once.

Yes, I know and I do my tests somewhere in this area. What about vsync? Is it worth to turn it on? I would like to change frames number from 30 to 60 but I don't have any idea how to do this.

My the newest settings: I also tested different settings with high shadows, 16500 trees and 100000 preload radius also with 8x MSAA but I didn't notice much difference but fps drops were appearing frequently. High shadows are noticable but not that much as I though while there's fps difference. Looks a bit better and flares are cool, that's all. I haven't tested it during dogfight. Sometimes, I had fps lags when shadows were on high. But now is much better. I prefer more preload radius than this and only 8000 trees which makes that I can see further and when trees're appearing, it's smooth. By the way, Art-J, what your settings are? What is Heat Blur excatly is and what resolution of cockpit display is the best in your opinion? 512 vs 512 Every Frame vs 1024 vs 1024 Every Frame? Anybody tested the difference between flat and default in terrain shadows?

Thank you that you wrote about it. Visibility range - still the same, so high because I've noticed the difference between medium and high Shadows to medium - didn't notice any difference but game seems to be fluently MSAA to 4x Lens effect = flat + dirt but I don't know what dirt could mean here Trees visibility - the same, looks good, works fine Preload radius - you're right and I wondered about it. Changed to 135000 instead of 150000 Terrain object shadows = default

Thanks for response. Probably it's not, there're no any vibrations, etc. However, it seems that turning this on makes that plane is more sensitive to what I'm doing. That joystick has about 12 buttons. Most of them are set for options which are the most needed in my opinion. I'm just asking what sensitivity for axis, etc can be good in this situation.

Hello, I've got a few questions to you which reffer to graphic settings. Some settings are ununderstable to me and I don't see any difference when I change something there. In photo, I marked a few things. Can you explain me what's going on with them? My game looks good but sometimes I've got lags, especially over mountains ( use Starway`s terrain mod ), sometimes over forests, cities - not high. What's the best combination of these marked settings for me if I've got i5-2500, GTX 960? Sometimes, it's hard to fight in near contact. Maybe it's because of shadows? I used to use 1024 resolution of cockpit and 8x MSAA. Is there any difference between 4x and 8x? And where are 8QX, 16QX, etc.?

Hello, after update I've got problem to control my plane. I've got Logitech Attack 3 and I would like to ask you to help me in choosing the best settings for it. What sensitiveness should be set for my joystic? Force feedback should be turned on or not?

I've noticed a few things. - it's harder to take-off ( with the same load, there wasn't any problem to take-off over 140-150kn, now it's almost impossible ) - harder control during low speed (~200 kn ) - I've changed nothing so far but even at ground 'flaps' are still moving ( to big sentivity ) - Don't know why but my plane diving like Su-27 when it's not trimmed Btw.: Most realistic is using Force Feedback or not?
